Rated in 2009 in the Shinkansen from bottle.
Agressive pine hopped aroma.
I assume it’s amber, anyway the owl on the Label is cute.
Honey roasted sweet entry, pine and citric balance, retains some sticky restsugars, as a consequence a
Solid body, fine sparklyness dissolves it on the tongue. Quite drinkable.

Bottle from Brewdog Online,Paired with pizza.
More ruby-brown than amber with a fluffy tan head. Lemon and dusty cupboards on the nose, its well carbonated, quite smooth in the mouth with toffee and chocolate notes up front, followed by some slight citrus hops and a touch of black malt astringency. Enjoyable but more of a brown ale. omegamike (152) - York, North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUN 22, 2012
Pours mahogany with thin white head. Aroma is very malty, yet with a lovely tinge of citrus and honey. The flavour is rich malty liquorice with a sweet honey accent and a light bitters rounding it out. Wonderful.
