swampwater (66) - Preston, Lancashire, ENGLAND - APR 8, 2015
Aroma: Toffee, orange peel, and a hint of caramel.donniemillan (102) - AUSTRALIA - APR 4, 2015
Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy amber colour, with a lingering white head.
Taste: Caramel, orange, and a slight hoppy bite.
Palate: Quite sweet throughout, with a bitter aftertaste. Light body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Quite unusual... in a good way. A nice, sweetish beer, with enough of a hop kick at the end to remind you it’s an IPA.
It’s a strange beer all round. It pours bright orange with thin lacing, lots of sediment (or does this actually have fruit in it?). The aroma is not much hops, lots of citrus and a strong grain smell, has that funk hops smell of Belgian beers. The taste is very smooth, light, low bitterness, lots of toffee malt flavours but not syrupy at all, very refreshing. They say it’s an IPA but I’d call it a session Belgian ale... with fruit. invinoveritas (156) - Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - JUN 23, 2016
33cl bottle at home. Pours amber with a huge frothy head. Inviting grapefruit, hoppy, citrus aroma. Nice floral hoppy taste, refreshing palate and bitter aftertaste. Khosrove (87) - LATVIA - MAY 12, 2017
Very fruity and refreshing. Not too bitter, nice citrusy hops. A little sour. davidm (2080) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - FEB 6, 2014
Bottle from K&G. Very malty, with good balance of citrus, but not really an IPA.

Bottle shared by a friend at Izakaya Seki in DC, thanks Ed! Golden orange with off-white head. Aromas of citrus, tropical fruit, floral notes. Tastes of citrus, light pine, floral notes. Medium body with a dry finish. shoulderbroken (4255) - Tokyo, JAPAN - JUL 6, 2013
UPDATED: OCT 20, 2013 Tap at Yellow Ape. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma orange, bit of yeastiness. Taste nice enough, decent orange, bitterness again, quite sweet but something not quite there. I like orange stuff so was a bit disappointed. Will try again some time. Rerate at home from bottle. Either I was pissed or it wasn’t as good on tap. Still not mindblowing, but the orange taste is pretty nice. Aroma is a bit caramelly and subtle orange. There is still something not quite there. Taste is good, but something about the body maybe. It feels too thick and not refreshing and crisp enough for me. But definitely prefer it this time. Small bottle from Le Collier Marunouchi, Tokyo Railway Station. Pinkish orange brown, good head. Oregano resin hop aroma. Tastes like a herby pizza. Never had a beer like this before. Smooth with spicy aftertaste. Not sure why this is classed as a wheat beer. More a spice herb vegetable. Would go great with a pizza. laiti (8484) - Tampere, FINLAND - NOV 13, 2014
33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 04/2015
Aroma is rather sweet and heavy with caramel, some resiny hops and orange. Also some citrus. Flavour has grapefruit, fruity hops, resiny tones and caramel. Unusual IPA, but I seem to enjoy this. Heavy but still refreshing and not overwhelmingly sweet.
