Slight aroma, dip brown color, tastes of caramel with a smoked neck and a bitter finish

33 cl. bottle @ home. Copper-red color with particles floating in it. Rocky off white head with reasonable retention. Aroma’s: sweet, sweet fruit. Retronasal it’s fruity, light bitter, light wood. Flavor is moderate sweet with light bitterness and a touch of wood. Medium bodied. Finishes a bit bitter and woody, herbal. Interesting.

Bottle from Yamaya, 7.0%. Nice orange-gold pour, creamy off-white head, good lacing. Sweet citrus aroma, orange pulp, definite cedar oak, like a white wine. Quite enjoyable to breathe in. Has a dry malt flavour, nutty, not strong citrus except for a late tangy pithy bite. Bittering is more in the old preservative manner than offering flavour. It’s oily and medium-bodied, cedar growing, a sharp almost burning bitterness over time. Reminiscent of an old stock ale, which I guess it is in concept.

From bottle at Riga Airport 25.09.16. Cloudy deep orange. Diminishing off-white head. Aroma of apricot. Taste of apricot jam, with some sweetness. Soft bitterness is pleasantly lingering on.

Swaroga (2221) - Warszawa, POLAND - SEP 7, 2016
33cl bottle. Cloudy deep amber colour with medium big head. Aroma is complex with spicy notes of pepper, ginger bread, candied red fruits, cherry marachino, muscat grape, bit yeasty. Interesting. It has a delicate carbonation and quite thick mouth feel. Taste is medium sweet, spicy, with moderate and well balanced bitterness. Overall nutty and mashroomy ting going on in the back.

Hazy amber colour, huge beige head. F*ck it, I can smell only the strong perfume on the back of my hand... Ok, I was wrong, my nose DID actually pick up some notes which are present in the flavor. A lot of caramel, bread, sweet dried fruits - both yellow and dark. Quite oily and thick texture. Very, very flavorful. Also has this nice balanced bitterness in the after taste. Very good!

Bottle, 330ml. Pours dark golden-amber to copper, clear. Head is very tall, foamy and yellowish to beige. Gentle scent of hops and malt. Mouth fill is foamy and creamy with a very gentle carbonation. Tastes nicely bitter, just right, gently sweet, a little tart. Flavors of fruity hops, herbal hops, some toasted notes, very fruity, quite herbal, fruity acidity, sweet malt, quite complex. Really nice hop profile, with strong flavors. Very nice, well balanced, could use a slightly stronger carbonation.

Ngejo (979) - Jakarta, INDONESIA - JUN 3, 2016
Bottle. Hazy, orange, minimal head, tan foam, medium bitterness, light sweetness, medium body, oily feel, soft carbonation, & bitter finish.

tomer (3517) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - MAY 17, 2016
Bottle, medium stable slightly dense bubbly head, cloudy deep orange color, aroma of shrubs and wood with a piney hint, flavor of shrubs tobacco fruit and some biscuity maltiness, medium empathic shrubby bitterness. Not too complex but quite satisfying.
