12oz bottle poured into nonic. Hazy orange liquid with a a pillowy head that settles to a finger of foam. The aroma is packed with cedar wood and white pepper then there’s malt, bread, grass, and doughy yeast. Flavor is perfumed bitterness from the cedar, tea and white pepper, followed by citrus hop and caramel malts. Medium body, slightly thick but sadly without a resinous/sticky IPA character, lively carbonation, and a bitter, nearly astringent finish.

Pours gold/Amber with fast disappearing head. Aroma somehow smells Japanese. Flavour is malty but bitter. Soft mouth feel. Long hoppy bitter finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

15/IX/17 - 33cl bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte) @ home - BB: V/2017 (oops) (2017-1496) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the bottle!

Clear amber to red orange beer, bit irregular creamy solid yellowish head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, sweet, raisins, lots of caramel, ripe banana. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter, yeasty, raisins, hoppy touch, some caramel, soft roast. Aftertaste: grains, pretty hoppy and bitter, some dried fruits, sugary touch. Decent, not super...

330ml bottle from RusBeerShop. Pours hazy orange-brown with a medium-sized off-white head. Aroma is wood, pine, caramel, orange. Taste is wood, caramel, oranges, moderate bitterness, dry finish. Interesting.

alexmate (295) - South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - NOV 8, 2017
Pours a sort of light amber colour, nice lacing, thin white head. The aroma is boozy with some red fruits, yeast, spices and a slight stale cardboard smell. Taste is very similar to a barley wine with some boozy brandy like apricot, raisin and plum flavours, hoppy bitter finish. Nice beer, but is it an IPA?

12 oz bottle. Scents of leather and apricot and sours. Pours a dark orange with a white head that quickly dissipates. Complex balances of sour and sweet with a sour lingering finish. Some alcohol notes. Mild carbonation. Very unique.

Taster @ Mondial de la bière Paris. Notes de caramel et de fruits mûrs. Très maltée avec un final sur l’amertume.

Strykzone (7715) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - JUN 20, 2017
Bottle. Darker brown and opaque. A beige head that leaves nice lacing. Fruit and malts in the aroma. Tangerine and some tropical varieties with some dark fruit. First sip brings some harshness as from a barleywine. Caramel is among the malt flavors and this tends to be quite malty. It also tastes a little hot and perhaps this should be a barleywine. Hops are minimal. Or maybe faded.

colui72 (1118) - HONG KONG - JUN 2, 2017
Clear amber, medium off-white head and sticky lacing. Aroma of resin, caramel, ripe fruits. Taste is on the malty side, with nice sweet malts, caramel, a bit barleywine-ish; then some wood, ripe fruits, alcohol. Medium bodied with a smooth and creamy mouthfeel, medium bitter, long finish. Excellent.

BillWyce (1110) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 6, 2017
Pours hazy orange-amber with a tight, 1-finger bone-colored head. Mild grapefruit hop aroma mixed with a wood note. Maybe some caramel too. Body is medium with just a touch of oil to it. Light astringency to the finish. Hop flavors show as notes of citrus and resin that mix at the back with a pleasant wood note.
