I dont really understand why this beer is being rated so low. Its a solid milk stout, even reminding me of Three Floyds before they started over-hopping it. Granted, its not as boozy or full bodied as that brew. I still get the same tasting notes and aroma that Moloko had a few years ago. The nose is chocolate and coffee. Slight milky creaminess upon tasting, but not the usual body Im expecting. There is a barely noticeable bitter finish. The main flavors I perceive are chocolate, milky sweetness, and a tiny bit of sourness, but not anything that is off-putting. Ive had Flemish sours that were much more intense than this and I still found them enjoyable. Overall a highly drinkable brew, though I do prefer the Espresso Stout from Hitachino Nest. I just wish it was a bit more boozy as I think that would add more complexity.

On tap at Ebenezers Pub in Maine USA. Pour Pitch black with a nice tall tan foam that last. Aroma is from the roasted malt, sugar notes and a touch of lactose. Taste is all of the above plus some coffee. Medium body and carbonation. Sweet but just enough. Nice sweet and lactic finish.

Barwa ciemnobrunatna.

Bottle at Hokkaido Ramen Santouka. Smells of sweet chocolate and coffee, candy sugar. Very sweet stout. Pitch black with no head (perhaps because it was served very cold).

Poured from a 330 ML bottle into a pint glass at the World of Beer in Columbia, SC. The appearance is a very dark brown with a small tan head. The aroma is all malt. The taste is roasted malt, some coffee and chocolate and has that thick milk stout feel with a slight acidic aftertaste.

aromat całkiem przyjemny, słodki, kawa z mlekiem. w smaku trochę wodniste, leciutko palone, sos sojowy. Najfajniejszy w nim jest pozostający smak na języku

On tap at the Lower Right, Tokyo. Pours dark brown with medium beige head. Malty, milk chocolate, cocoa, bit roasted, sweet. Short finish, and light even a bit watery. Not bad, but too light for me.

33 cl bottle @ home, a bit past the best before date. Black color. Beige head with little retention. Aromas of sweet chocolate, light roast, some berries. More roasty retronasal, mocha, red fruit. Flavor is light sweet, coffee-ish, roasty. Light bodied (almost thin). Short finish, light roasty. Quite nice actually.

Pours a burnt cola with a restrained head. The initial caramel aroma is so strong it almost morphs into cheese, underlain by charcoal - changing later into brown sugar and mocha. On tasting there is an upfront dark bitterness, which surprisingly carries through on the watery palate. Coffee with an aftertaste of bananas. Interesting but maybe hampered by the low ABV.
