330ml Bottle - Dark amber with small head. Strong aroma of ginger but some nuts can be detected too. Spicy, earthy and moderately sweet taste with ginger standing out along with notes of caramel and sultanas. YantarCoast (1408) - Moscow, RUSSIA - JUN 26, 2017
330ml bottle from Pinta's in Moscow. Pours hazy brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is ginger, sweet malts, spices. Taste is medium sweet, ginger, syrup, malt. Scipio (1117) - Palatine, Illinois, USA - JUN 7, 2017
Pours a light brown with a thin off white head. Ginger jumps out in the aroma, with earthy malt, caramel, spices, and light floral hops are also found. The taste is bitter and quite sweet, and its a candyish sweet at that. Still very heavy in ginger, the floral impressions are rather pronounced in here as well. Underneath we get a slight cinnamon, mild spice, caramel, and cereal. Not very surprisingly, ginger dominates the aftertaste. Medium bodied, thicker in texture, and average in carbonation. To much sugar and ginger. I wasn’t impressed. thellgren (1082) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 3, 2017
0.33 l bottle from Alko Arkadia, Helsinki (tasted May 19, 2017). Appearance is brown, cloud and with a nice head. Taste is full of ginger, but it is not very spicy. There is enough malt base to balance everything. caribou43 (1065) - Lausanne/Sevilla/Lima, SWITZERLAND - APR 30, 2017
I bought this beer at beer of the world in Zurich. I drank relax at home in Lausanne. I think that it is a good beer for the style, with different aromas. The body is brown/orange, the carbonation is a bit higher than usual, thin and white head. The taste has different phases, at some moment you get more ginger or more caramel, you smell at the final the alcool but it is ok, touch of hop but hidden by the ginger like the malt, interesting beer my bottle had a
limit until october 2017.

bottle from estucerveza. Appearance is light cloudy, orange, brown. Thin white head. Medium bitterness. Medium body. Aroma and flavour is malt, hops, fruit, spices, ginger, chili. Because the ginger is very soft, I’m loving it. rodsquad (265) - Aberdeen, SCOTLAND - MAR 30, 2017
Bottle from Oddbins Aberdeen. Big nose of sweet red toffee apple coating and a warm, spicy ginger. Looks deliciously deep amber brown. It’s hazy with a tightish foamy toffee-beige head. Taste builds on the toffee coating. Toast n syrup makes a formidably sweet malt front with a following feiry ginger ale. Soft mouthfeel with gentle but sharp carbonation assist countering the sweetness. Big sugary sweet front cut down by a feiry ginger and earthy hop. I can imagine the toffee will not be for everyone but I liked it. colui72 (1060) - HONG KONG - MAR 20, 2017
Hazy copper, medium cream head, some lacing. Aroma of ripe fruits, dates, some ginger notes. Very malty body, not as expected associating the idea with "ginger ale", more of a old or a scotch ale, quite a winter beer, rich in sweet malts, spices, ripe fruits, with the ginger beneath it, which comes up after few sips, and getting stronger and more dominant as the beer warms up. Booze quite evident at this stage too. However, enjoyable. jsporrer (1040) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 17, 2017
Pours a cloudy caramel color with a tan head. Aroma of sweet malts and light spices. Smooth and light body with a caramel toffee taste similar to an old stock ale. Somewhat sweet with a peat moss finish and aftertaste. Earthy spices are prominent but the Ginger doesn’t stand out. There is no sharp or crisp bite usually associated with Ginger. Ok, but not really my style and not that refreshing or enjoyable. HoopsandHops (56) - ISRAEL - FEB 25, 2017
330ml bottle in Tel Aviv, bb 21.04.17. Pours dark amber out of the bottle, looks crimson in the glass, with under a finger of head that settles but for a thin ring around the rim (3). Aroma is super malty sweet, reminiscent of a Red Ale, almost barley wine-ish, with honey, molasses, toffee, sugared papaya, no ginger and none of the 8% ABV, but still smells intense and complex (8). Ginger comes through as soon as the beer hits the tip of the tongue (admittedly, as a reviewer I was looking for it) and carries through, and it’s nicely enveloped by the sweet taste of toffee and apricot, with a slighly bitter finish of that dried papaya -- nice and again complex (8). Body tends towards full with medium carbonation and soft texture (4).
