A dose of fresh ginger roots added to the brewkettle creates an intriguing mix of ginger, malt-sweetness , and citruslike aromas and flavors Hoppy dryness is very subdued with ginger-sweet-spicey notes dominating throughout to the very finish.

Clear amber brown colour, white head. Aroma of malts, ginger, lemonade, some spicy notes. Light sweet, light sour flavour, ginger, liquorice. Spicy finish, malts, caramel.
(from 35cL bottle @ my Cologne hideout)

Bottle from maruhn. Pours clear reddish brown with almost no head. Smells of citrus and toffee with a hint of spice. Taste starts with chocolate, coffee. Palate is bread, almost earthy. The ginger Hits you hard in the finish, while it is hardly present before. All in all decent. But i expected a more spicy exprience.

Dermi (1182) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 22, 2016
33 cl, bottled. Pours slightly hazy red with a nice creamy white head. Aroma: Ginger, malt. Lingonberry. Taste: Sweet, malty. Gingery flavours. Salmiakki licorice. Dough. Herbal overall. Candyfloss, alcohol. Palate: Medium body, some carbonation. Salmiakki in the end. Not my favourite, herbal. Weird.

Hitachino Nest real Ginger Ale 8% Clear Amber with a light beige head. It’s got a fruity ginger ale aroma. The taste surprised me with fruity biscuits, syrupy sweetness and a milder than anticipated ginger flavor.

Drumsta ruda spalva, nedidelė puta, įdomus skonis.. šiek tiek imbiero, saldus

Raylite (85) - - AUG 24, 2016

Too heavy a beer with not enough ginger. I wanted something reasonably light and refreshing with nice spiciness and mostly got the opposite. A disappointment given my general appreciation of this brewery. It was palatable at least.

alexmate (173) - South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 12, 2016
I didn’t really like this. It has an almost roasted malt taste almost like what you would get with a mild stout followed by a sweetish ginger taste mid-palate. It is no doubt a unique and well-crafted beer it just does nothing for me.

thengling (48) - Saskatchewan, CANADA - JUN 29, 2016
330 ml bottle from Sobeys. Pours a viscous muddy orange with small persistent head. Aroma is of boreal leaf-litter, kumquats and vague floral hops. Taste very malty, nice but not aggressive ginger bite, guayaba/guava paste. Full bodied, slightly gritty, again like quava paste. A pleasant surprise. I usually walk past labels like this, thanks to wifey for bringing me one!
