A dose of fresh ginger roots added to the brewkettle creates an intriguing mix of ginger, malt-sweetness , and citruslike aromas and flavors Hoppy dryness is very subdued with ginger-sweet-spicey notes dominating throughout to the very finish.

2014/07/04 - Pours a cloudy, burnt orange/amber colour with foamy, off white head thy quickly reduces to a lingering surface film. Aroma is lots of ginger, mild caramel and light citrus notes. Taste is similar to nose; lots of ginger, sweet caramel malts and a hint of citrus fruit. Herbal ginger flavors nicely balance with the sweet malts. Mouthfeel is medium and oily with fizzy carbonation and a mildly warming, herbal finish. Interesting brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sweet ginger smell. Color is a light amber. Sweet thick alcahol rolling the beer around the tongue gives that ginger kick but the seet finish takes that all away.

Nice fruity aroma with tick foam, testes of chocolate and citrus, and its pretty good, the ginger in the title has no presence at all

Rdbrun farge med lys beige skum som ras kt faller. Blir liggende ett tynt lag. Lukter fruktig og krydret. Fyldig og oljete i munnflelse. Smaker karamell, krydder. Ikke verst l dette.

Pours a rich brown with a tinge of red from a bottle, thick white head that stays for quite a while. Aroma is a treacly ginger, flavor is similar with a fair amount of citrus. A little cloying. Okay beer.

Bottle from maruhn. Pours clear reddish brown with almost no head. Smells of citrus and toffee with a hint of spice. Taste starts with chocolate, coffee. Palate is bread, almost earthy. The ginger Hits you hard in the finish, while it is hardly present before. All in all decent. But i expected a more spicy exprience.
