This was a weak Hefe. yellow with foamy head. Nose had some banan and tasted some clove, real watery. Sammy (12346) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 30, 2005
Pours a large initial head of soap bubbles. Under average aroma. Pale colour. Spicey taste, a bit of wheat and yeast, easy quaffable. Medium to slightly thin mouthfeel. Drying banana creamy finish. Clove and vinegary tart and malt aftertaste. Quixote18 (236) - Johnson City, Tennessee, USA - NOV 30, 2005
Medium sized white head diminishes via large rocky bubbles. Cloudy and dark yellow. Strong citrus hop aroma gives way to kiwi fruit, or very green bananas. Smooth mouthfeel, with a sharp citrusy bite at the finish. My overall impression of the flavor was of a lemin-lime drink (with a hint of grain). Not overly impressive. natrat (66) - Ucluelet, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 6, 2005
Poured bright orange and cloudy, with a surprising head for a weizen. Fantastic aroma with a great balance of light hoppiness and belgian spiciness. A pleasure to breathe in, over and over. Taste is huge, full of fruity esters...cherry, pear, banana, and pepper flavours dominate. Lots of great spicy notes with notable clove and lemon zest tones. A bit of hop bitterness brings you back to its essential beeriness and the mouthfeel reminds you of the malt sweetness. Actually much better than many (most) german Hefeweizens I’ve tried. A gem of a beer. beerbuzzmontreal (3487) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 26, 2005
Pours a clear golden color with a ring of white lace. Mild aroma of banana and spices. Mild flavor of banana and spices. The body is medium with a creamy texture and strong carbonation.

Fully diminishing white head quickly leaves all alone a clear light amber shade. Faint malts dont offer much in the sense of flavors, but spiced herbs and flowers. Unfortunately, an assault of banana and apple, peachy, mustardy and phenolic off-yeast work kinda ruins it all. White wine bandagey and creamy chaotic. Very light bodied, astringent yogurt residues. yayforbeer (753) - Orange Park, Florida, USA - SEP 28, 2005
Purchased at Broudy’s, Orange Park FL. Cloudy golden beer with a fizzy white head that disappears instantly. Aroma is yeasty, banana, hefeweizen goodness. Flavor is pretty good, but not up to the standards of the best German hefes. Lemony tart (maybe a bit too tart), with the spices and yeasty flavors. Its good, but not truly excellent. Still, nothing to complain about.. I enjoyed it. duff (5484) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 30, 2005
Bottle. Nice german style wheat. Estery banana, touches of clove. Soft smooth palate, with some light saltyness in the finish. Very nice. goldtwins (4320) - Nesconset, New York, USA - AUG 2, 2005
Light hazy yellow. Aromais sweet with a good dose of banana. Very citrus and lemon flavor. A little on the sour side. mds (2250) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 30, 2005
bottle. foggy, golden-orange body with a very short-lasting white head. aroma has a metallic essence, along with faint fruit esters, carbonation, and yeast. overly carbonated. cereal grains, and a little bit of fruit in the beginning. finish is mildly spicy. decent. this weizen leaves much to be desired.
