Pours a beautiful golden-straw with a creamy off white head. Complex aroma of lemon, grass, spice, ginger, and a huge floral bouquet. Taste does not disappoint! Begins sweet with lightly toasted malts that mix with orange and lemon. The finish is dry and spicy. Very smooth on the palate and I definitely want to keep drinking more. Maybe the best Wit I’ve ever had and it comes from Japan.

Bottle from Maryhill Tesco, Glasgow. Beer served in 12°C, Duvel Glass. Pours light yellow, cloudy, little head. Aroma is spicy, coriander, ginger, cardamon, nutmeg, potatoes, root vegetables, citron, orange. Juicy and lime after warming up. Flavor is malty, herbal, citrous, zesty and spicy.

the element here that differs from the standard white ale formula is a bit of floral notes, even a premonition of a sour vector in there. to me a bit better than avg, but also a bit watery

Like a crisp, less sweet Japanese Blue Moon (but much better, I promise). Nice balance of citrus and spice among the wheat flavours. Pretty refreshing.

Bottle from supermarket. Honestly, not my favorite white ale, but still ok.

La bière correspond a ce que l’on attend d’une blanche. Arômes floral léger et de citron. Très bonne.

Spice on the nose. Nutmeg palate with hoppy body. Citrus towards the end. Great looking bottle.

Cloudy yellow. Ahh, es de botella. Pleasant aroma of wheat and spice (coriander and nutmeg like), bit fruity, nice. Good mouthfeel. Flavour has wheat, spices like coriander and nutmeg, malty like with some fruit and bit citrus in the finish. Soft and indeed pleasant. Refreshing.

It’s a witbier at 5.5% ABV. It pours a cloudy bright yella’ color with a one finger white head. The aroma is light, some citrus and breadyness as you might expect from a wit. The taste is a little citrusy as well, but the aftertaste is pretty yeasty. It’s not something amazing but this beer is very drinkable. How much flavor can one put in a witbier anyway? This does what it’s supposed to.
