(bottle) hazy golden colour with a frothy white head. strange aroma of green bell peppers, brown sugar and lime juice, slightly perfumed, with a touch of sourdough and thyme. flavour is mostly pale malts and stale black tea, rather leafy, with some more lemons, pizza dough, mouldy peaches and a semi-dry finish. medium-bodied with lively carbonation. just ok. bverona (2) - - SEP 18, 2017 does not count
UPDATED: SEP 18, 2017 Just love his beer. Refreshing, yet complex, this beer satisfies most moods. sarauckelman (550) - Durham, Durham, ENGLAND - SEP 17, 2017
Cloudy lemon yellow with no head and a lot of particulate matter. Strong aroma of something I couldn't place, similarly strong flavor. And then my husband said "I can really taste the nutmeg" and I was like Ohhhh, yeah, that's definitely nutmeg. It's all you can taste, and it leaves a tingle in the mouth. It's an interesting beer.
