12 ounce can from SHIG, poured a pale yellow, with aromas of grass, pale malt, and grains. Flavor is the same, nothing spectacular, high carbonation, bland flavor.

Ah the ticks you’ll grind when in Cambodia. Light gold, head lasts a bit longer than I’m used to here. Nose has rice and cereal, grass. Flavour isn’t particularly dry, bready, I think I prefer the NE Asian lagers to the SE Asian ones.

Big bottle from H-Mart. Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. A big corn and grainy nose. Not great: skunky, bitter light fruit, round grainy sweetness dominates. Husky, corn and rice perhaps. All adjuncts. Overall, drinkable but barely. The skunkiness is terrible.

Can. Not half as bad as the Hite beer I had at Incheon Airport a few years ago that still gives me nightmares. Wheaty, bready aromas. Not as much corn flavour as comparable Japanese macro lagers. Not exactly dry finishing- almost creamy if anything- but not a bad palate. Tolerable, which for the price of a happoshu, meant good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0.33l can. The pour is clearly clear. Common, it’s a South Korean lager - of course it’s clear and pale golden. This one also had a small white lager head, but that faded quite quickly. Low on the aroma, but i has something that can remind of a light burnt-soapy aroma mixed with sweet malts. Strange, but actually not horrible. Clean flavors - really low but clean as hell. Extremely blend and it doesn’t really separate itself to much from any other pale lager. It has a average carbonation level and a mild watery mouthfeel. Ends kinda watery and really low on the bitterness. Light drinkable, but boring. Almost like drinking a mineral water actually. Dry finish? No. Just watery with a hint of really thin lemon juice.
