An elegant, straw coloured bitter. The hint of sweetness is complemented by subtle hop flavours, leading to a dry finish. Brewed using Maris Otter pale Ale malt, Hobson's yeast and finished with Worcestershire Goldings and Herefordshire Progress hops.

Bottle: Unclear yellow with a bubbly white head. Grassy Citrus/malty aroma. Low carbonation. Rather soft texture. Nice lacings & some good solid hops in the taste. Very simple, not bad, not really good either. OK

Bottle @ ChristianScheffel tasting. [thank you, Christian]
Pours a pale golden with little head. Aroma is mild, slightly woody and grassy. A bit thin. Flavour is limited as well, some dry bitterness creeps in along the malty sweetness, but nothing exciting...

Cask@GBBF2007. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is wood, slight nectar and some earth. Flavour is quite papery bitter with some hints of fruits. Leaves a tickling feeling on the tongue. Not the most exciting brew I have had.

Hazy golden color. Light fruity aroma: white wine, lemon peel. Some malt flavor, high bitterness, aromatic enough; strange crossover between Golden Ale and white wine. Very long final. Refreshing. Dry.

UPDATED: APR 20, 2010 Dark yellow, no head. Aroma of flowery hops. Flavours are flowery as well. Malty and bitter.

Rerate. Bottle from Odd-Bins. Slightly hazy golden colour, short head. Aroma is very perfumy, flowery. Flavour is fairly bitter, flowery finish. +.4

Cask @ Jan Primus. Aroma is very flowery due the hops. Bit hazy, golden coloured with a thin lacing. Taste is a little sweet, quite flowery with some caramel malt Nice and refreshing.

caesar (7133) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - JUL 29, 2007
Cask @ Jan Primus. Slight hazy yellow golden color, short head. Aroma of typical english hop (Goldings I presume), quite flowery, bit malty, according to Savad it also contains some skin of yellow plums. Moderate bitter taste. Decent bitter.

iep (230) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JUL 5, 2007
Cask (gravity). Translucent golden body, slightly hazy with a small coarse-bubbled head & little lacing. Floral aroma, with biscuits (grainyness) and a strong Goldings presence. A hoppy & slightly fruity and floral aroma, nicely dry with a biscuity maltiness. Long, dry and hoppy finish. A silky, round and fullbodied mouthfeel. Not much CO2. Enjoyable, especially if you like Goldings hops.

Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUL 3, 2007
Weak head. The aroma is earthy and musty with dusty notes of hops and flower. The carbonation is low. The flavour also has the earthy/dusty notes, hops, flower an honey. It has a nice bitterness, especially in the finish.
