A fine blond low-gravity beer with a light, natural fizz and citrus notes with a sweet, flora aroma. The initial sweetness gives way to a refreshing burst of hop flavour which lingers through to a crisp dry finish. Twisted Spire will appeal to the palates of both the die-hard ale drinker and potential lager convert.

Cask conditioned handpull at The Bell, Worcester. Pretty good blond beer. Fairly light in mouth due to ABV. Fine. Decent pale malt. OK hops.

[email protected] 2009. Yellow color, small white head. Light lime peel aroma. Lime peel hoppy flavors in otherwise sweet malty flavor. Some late bitterness. Quite light beer.

Bottle. It pours a clear, golden body and a small white head. The aroma is grassy and citrusy, pretty British. Some lemon. There’s a nice bitterness in the flavor, along with the grass and citrus recognized in the aroma. Medium body, pretty dry on the palate. Short, bitter finish. Nothing impressive going on here, but it’s at least quenching. 140110
