UPDATED: AUG 5, 2013 Clear slight yellow. Sweetish nose with apple/pear. Buttery light honey.
Taste has some slickish body, smooth, tart and citrusy middle/finish. Lightly spicey. Buttery light honey, floral, lime, very citrusy finish-tart lime/lemon. Some alcohol burn. Sour apple with sweetness.Medium sweetness, tart strongly citrus finish. Pretty dry, the finish is too acidic/astringent. Very nice lime citrus though just a harsh finish. Bottle sample. Clear pale yellow color. Huge basil nose with bright peppermint. Taste is smooth spearmint, peppermint candy, lime. Really interesting. The best Austrian mead I’ve ever had (#1 of 1). SanfordBrewer (1585) - Sanford, Florida, USA - SEP 26, 2012
Great lime notes, and the added acidity really helps to balance everything. Much easier to drink and to match with food than the other varieties. redlight (2318) - Orlando, Florida, USA - NOV 3, 2011
Pours clear with greenish yellow hue, still. Aroma is citrus with honey notes hints of lime zest and very floral. Lime tartness upfront with nice acidity with floral honey notes and citrusy acidity into a dry finish. Very nice! cheap (5958) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 30, 2011
Had this at the 2011 mid summer morning mead tasting at Vintage, nice place, y’know? Listed on bottle as single variety lindenbluten met lime flowers die hochlan imker austria so I am purely guesssing if this is the correct spot for this wine. Dew and honey of lime blossoms it says. Almost as clear as water. Very weird aroma of lime flowers, I think. Has a mild backround aroma of a woman’s b/o. Taste is unique and mild, pleasantly mild. Sweet fer sure. Floral bandaids. One of a kind as far as beers go. Finish is OK and agreeable.

perfectly clear but slight yellow color. looks like water in low light. soft lime aroma with light honey notes a touch of earth. not much alcohol to smell. taste is bright and tart. semi sweet but fairly dry overall. green apple and lime. mouthfeel is smooth, medium/ light body. Big thanks to Michael for bringing this one. Pours a nice light yellowish hue, sorta thin for a mead. Aromas of light honey, with a nice blast of lime. The lime is more prominent in the nose than the flavor. Nice mild floral honey sweetness. Subtle notes of lime. A bit muddled and earthy overall, sorta waxy and woody, but overall pretty good and unique. obguthr (6528) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - FEB 4, 2011
Lilly and honeysuckle nose. Champagne colored with a greenish hue, still. Moderately sweet honey with a lime accent. An appropriate amount of sweetness, with a flavorful twist. Nice. authenticmead (69) - West Coast, Oregon, USA - JAN 26, 2011

Nose: (Condition, intensity, development, honey and hive character) Floral, Lime blossoms, honey, beeswax and hive.
Palate: (sweetness, acidity, tannin, honey intensity, honey character, alcohol, length) very nice lime blossom, clean, focused, honey, honey dew, medium sweet, and pleasant alcohol warmth.

Bottle @ Seabass going away party, Jan15th ’11
