Pale straw-golden colour with a fast-fading white head. The aroma is lightly malty with a touch of straw and grassy aromas as well. There is a little bit of light hoppiness but it’s quite restrained. Earthy/minerally bitterness. This drinks a whole lot more like a helles lager than it does an ale. I can’t say it’s great, but it’s not that bad. probstblueribbon (3791) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 22, 2013
473 ml can from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass. robinvboyer (4735) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 18, 2013
App.: Clear golden with a thin white head.
Aroma: Plenty of diacetyl, a little DMS, oddly fruity, cardboard, strange old white wine aromas, bad.
Palate: Medium body and carbonation.
Flav.: Same ensemble of defects and yuck; dry, minimal bitterness and a crappy finish.
The label says “This is great beer”. The label lies.
clear golden pour, small white head. this is a butter/diacetyl bomb. reminds me of creamed corn with a big dollop of butter on it. pass! pootzboy (1784) - Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 15, 2013
Can - clear gold, small cap doesn’t last, aroma od sweet and diacetyl - flavour is not much better - poorly put together and badly processed - leave it on the shelf. barncatmatt (2287) - Cambridge, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 13, 2013
