3.5
BrewWhatIWant (278) - Ontario, CANADA - JUN 18, 2017
Pours a reddish amber with a short lived off white head. Aroma is bready malt. Taste is slightly sweet with notes of bready, nutty malt, some fruity esters and mildly bitter hops. Light bodied with lots of carbonation. This is a pretty well balanced and flavourful amber reminiscent of an alt beer.

mikkopen (1192) - Guelph, Ontario, CANADA - APR 15, 2017
473 ml can. Clear amber-orange colour, thin off-white head. Sweet malty aroma with fruity and caramel notes. The flavour is sweetish malty, with notes of nuts and caramel, and a mildly bitter hoppy finish. A little thin on the palate, and more than a little dull.

ChadPoole (478) - Ontario, CANADA - FEB 16, 2016
473ml can in a lager glass. Pours dark amber with a white head that has an orange tinge and does not last long. Little aroma. Sweet carmel and hoppy but kind of flat tasting.

crossovert (13744) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 1, 2015
473ml can. The poorest of the hockley examples, most intrusive marmite english yeast character.

shaynsawchuk (681) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 23, 2015
473 mL can. Pours clear amber with a thick cap of white head. Nose is caramel toffee, nuts and mild floral, herbal hops. Biscuity sweetness up front with a little bitterness on the back end. Thin, light bodied with average carbonation. No flaws, just a little dull.

50 cl can. Pours a clear amber with minimal white head. Aroma of cereal and herbs. Taste is slightly bitter. Overall it is good.

3.2
HopsandBolts (258) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 27, 2015
473 ml can from the LCBO.

Appearance: Pours a clear amber with just a finger of white head.

Aroma: Flour, malt.

Flavours: Malt, bit of hops.

Mouthfeel: Fairly smooth with average carbonation.

Overall: An okay Amber but not much going on here. The aromas and flavours don’t stand out and it just seems lacking. I much prefer the Hockley Dark.

can. Amber colour and thin fizzy head. Sweet caramel malt, some grain/grassy hops. Light, not really much going on here but its drinkable enough.

3.4
deepeary (405) - Ontario, CANADA - DEC 31, 2014
Can from LCBO. Clear amber with white head. Nose is mild hops (citrus, peppery) with grainy malt. Light body. Balanced hops and sweet grainy malt come through on the taste. Rather tasty for what it is.

Not my taste. Looks good, and smells okay, but watery and no particular thing to mention. There is a a bit of sourness in the mouth. Hard to describe. Not for the second time.
