Meh - English beers are generally not to my liking, so this review is definitely from that angle. Tastes like a brown ale, with a little more bite and a little more fizz on the palate. Not bad - too sweet for me - but I could drink one. Almost not hops, which is what Im missing the most.

473 ml can. Clear dark reddish brown colour, thick tan head. Caramel-malty aroma with notes of cocoa, nuts and berries. The flavour is sweetish malty, mildly roasted, with caramel and coffee notes. Not bad.

One of the best dark beers Ive experienced. Coffee notes that are delicate yet rich. Clean and smooth. Pours a robust head.

473 ml can @ Timo A. Canned 08.08.2016.
Pours clear dark ruby red color with a small head. Berries on the nose, malts, some ripe fruits, some chocolate. Harsh malt bitterness and cocoa on the flavor, coffee, some nutty dry notes. Okay but nothing special here.

473ml can. Pours a clear red-brown with a small, short lived, beige head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, chocolate, nuts and a hint of vanilla. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate and nuts with a slightly bitter coffee finish. Light body with a watery texture and lively carbonation. Ok.
