The flavor is weet with notes of straw and malt as well as a light note of straw, leading to a dry bitter and strawy finish. The body is thin. omhper (25125) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 31, 2007
Canned at RBESG ’07. Dark brown. Sweet and fruity with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Roasty malt gives me coffee and butter, there’s notes of apples before a carefully bitter finish. Quite good! cgarvieuk (24493) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 2, 2007

Amber-brown colour. Slightly toasty aroma. Flavour is toasty, chocolatey. It’s a little thin but tastes fine enough. bhensonb (15194) - Woodland, California, USA - AUG 11, 2009
Can from matt7215. Thanks once more. Pours a dark ruby brown with a frothy beige head. Aromas of dark roasted malt and chocolate and citrus. Medium body with creamy/frothy carbonation. Flavor is chocolate, and barring some dark malt that’s it. Finishes mildly bitter and chocolate. It’s a mild brown ale, and all the chocolate makes it quite tasty. Damn good beer. 473 mL can from matt7215. Thanks! This is a brown ale? Huh. Wouldn’t have guessed when I tasted this during a Ratebeer site crash. Reddish brown pour with a medium frothy head. Grainy roasted malt aroma with hints of chocolate and coffee. Taste is very strong coffee with some grainy notes. A little thin but very pleasant. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - AUG 20, 2007
