Halmgul med tjockt vitt skum, mycket jästfällning. Doftar fruktigt, lite jäst och pommac. Smaken fyllig, mycket kryddig, lite malt och svamp. Eftersmaken lång, kryddig och lite fruktig.

Luneylane (282) - Taipei City, TAIWAN - MAY 11, 2017
a bottle at the Cafe Bastille, near Taipower Building. Aroma: fresh bread and citrus fruit, very inviting. Appearance: opaque light amber, 1cm. of bubbly head. Palate: medium-bodied and slick, average carbonation. Finishes fruity and astringent. Taste: medium-sweet with lemons, finely balanced, good beer. Miles better than the regular supermarket Hoegaarden.

Prima!

Cristobal37 (1325) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAR 23, 2017
Slightly boozy candied sugar aroma. Hazy honey gold with some sediment floatin around. Honey, bananas, peach, mango, spearmint tastes and the body reminds me of a wheat beer (even though this is not brewed with wheat). Very soft and easy drinking, can’t taste the alcohol at all. I really like it. Not drastically different from other Belgian strong ales, but the body is really light and silky. Would like to set one of these aside for a while and try it again.

(bottle) very hazy deep golden colour with a couple of floaties and a frothy off-white head. aroma of pale malts and heavy gletschereis, with lots of wildflower honey, some yeast and a touch of caramel. flavour is mostly bubble gum and earth, slightly oxidized, with a light sweetness, some notes of ethanol, tobacco and strawberry jam in the semi-dry finish. heavy-bodied with lively carbonation.

GemmeDeReve (119) - FRANCE - MAR 20, 2017
