Cloudy golden colour with a nice big puffy head. Bitter, yeast and wheat aroma. Flavour is nice fruity, yeasty with wheat, some spices and nice bitter finish. Tasty strong witbier! thebeertourist (5189) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 3, 2007
Bottle. Greyish orange, cloudy, tight medium head. Big fruity nose, coriander and bananas. Tastes spicy with sweet wheat fruit character. Short finish. Medium to light body. Fizzy. A good thirst-quencher. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JAN 1, 2007
(Bottle, BB 19/10/07) Pours a cloudy golden body with a moderate creamy white head. Aroma of banana, wheat, clove, and lemon. Flavor of banana, spicy clove, and malt. grease (42) - Reno, Nevada, USA - DEC 25, 2006
Creamy, full, flavorful, and rich. This beer struck me as not simply a strengthened version of the standard wit, but its own beast altogether. Fully and creamy, well-balanced with spices, phenols, and esters, I found myself returning for more of this beer during my last visit to Belgium.

Very turbulent beer with floating sediments leading to sweet, yeasty smell. Also contributes to large white head. Good flavor though. Other than golden color, not radically different from normal Hoegaarden. lagomswedish (213) - Umeå, SWEDEN - DEC 2, 2006
Bottle from Systembolaget.
Pours a hazy marmalade orange with creamy head. Sweet yeasty aroma with hint of banana and coconut. Good mouthfeel, with sweet orange flavour and pepper spices and a medium/hard bitter finish. Only negatives would be a little too sweet and obvious alcohol. HarryFlashman (469) - Chatham, Kent, ENGLAND - NOV 27, 2006
Sampled at the Medway Beer Festival 2006 on 18/11/06 - Very sweet, very thick, quite nice. Kalli (502) - Falun, SWEDEN - NOV 19, 2006
Bottle. A whole different beast than the "regular" Hoe. More filling, thicker fruitiness, but something off about the sweetish, I thought.
Maybe a bad example so as I may have a chance to re-rate I will try to do so. SudsMcDuff (8429) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - NOV 14, 2006
Pours a cloudy sediment filled light orange colour...has that hot sweet alco yeast honey smashed flower smell..pretty tasty, but seems to be a tad off the mark, lots of floaties, but still delicous.
