OleR (4801) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 18, 2007
Bottle. Mostly lasting, frothy off-white head over a slight hazy, pale orange/golden body. Very aromatic; sweet oranges, ripe banana, perfume and spices. Sweet wheaty and malty flavors. Also a well prononced fruity acidicy in the aftertaste. Notes of spices and alcohol. Surprisingly light and easy to drink, considering the 8,7% ABV. Good balance. Powerfull and refreshing. Very nice.

(33cl bottle, best by 03/03/08) Small off-white head that persists as a thin creamy layer, atop a hazy apple cider body. Aroma is medium sweet, orange, some yeasty spicy, light coriander. Taste is medium sweet, orange, some coriander, bread, caramel, alcohol. Medium-full body. As others note, comes across as an imperial wit.

Coriander baked bean rustiness in the snout. A heady gust of spiritous malt. Witbier haze with swirling black snowstorm bits. Sweet, smooth, perfumey and fragrantly coriandered. Dangerous and lovely.

Dezzilu (226) - Whitmore Lake, Michigan, USA - FEB 7, 2007
Murky golden color with fantastic white head. Smell has me a little baffled, but I want to say rotting citrus. The alcohol overpours the flavor and makes this a little hard to swallow. The aftertaste solidifies my smell observation. A very strange, but original beer. I didn’t like it, but other might. I will stick with the Hoey white next time.

Cloudy orangey yellow body with with a white head that quickly faded. Nice fruity and sweet wheat aroma but still with a bitterness and warm alcohol notes. Not bad but nothing special.
