The story of the jam jars gave us an idea. Hoegaarden Rosée. It might be pink but it is very much a wheat beer. It also features the soft taste and subtle colour of raspberries. And while it doesn’t feature a higher alcohol percentage, it does mean you can enjoy it even more in the sun.
Ingredients: water, barley malt, unmalted wheat, fruits (10%), raspberry (6%), sugar, sweetener, hops, yeast.

UPDATED: FEB 4, 2014 Light pink and cloudy white beer, extremely fruity afterflavour that lingers on for too long.

Juks (1064) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - NOV 8, 2017
250ml bottle. Pours hazy pinkish-red, pink fluffy head stays, lacing. Aroma is intensive, raspberry, citrussy, sweet. Taste is fruity, citrussy, raspberry, cherry, cherry stone. Wheaty in aftertaste. Very light body, over average carbonated. Very simple, fruity, sweet brew. Can't say there's something wrong with brew, but obviously it's not my cup of tea.

Maits (580) - ESTONIA - OCT 29, 2017
Clear pink beer with some small pink head. Aroma is raspberry, dusty with some artificial sweet notes. Taste is raspberry, light sweet and sour. Overall quite good fruit beer, but some artificial notes in taste ruins better score.

phfyysik (1426) - Tartu, ESTONIA - OCT 28, 2017
Pours pinkish amber with medium light pink head. Aroma is fruity, raspberry, some artificial notes, soap, dust, sweetness. Taste is bitter, dusty, raspberry, some grass, medicine, artificial syrup. Not my taste.

tomer (3737) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - OCT 26, 2017
Bottle, small bubbly head, cloudy palish red color, aroma and flavor of raspbery with hints of metal, light sweetness, light bitterness lightish sourness. More a beer then expected.

Pyobon (1497) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - OCT 8, 2017
(On tap) Murky ruddy brown with good pinkish head. Raspberry aroma. Medium body, slightly sticky and oily with modest carbonation. Nice balance of sweet and sour. It is quite sweet, but for a low alcohol fruit flavored beer it's not unreasonable. There's no bitterness and no hint of alcohol. Great refreshing drink but maybe marginal as a beer.

Tried the UK version in a 75CL bottle back in the day. Has a weird taste of raspberry jam with a sweetened Hoegaarden wheat beer taste. This is a weird mix that doesn't work, it could be a grower though.

Te chemische framboos smaak. Kan verfrissend zijn op een warme dag, maar veel te chemisch en kunstmatig zoet naar mijn smaak.

Inoven (935) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - SEP 23, 2017
Flesje gedronken tijdens vakantie.
