250ml bottle from Beers of Europe website (£1.89):

Quite a nice beer but very similar to Hoegaarden itself, to be honest I can’t tell what the difference is meant to be and am questioning whether this is a gimmick or not. Regardless this one is an enjoyable beer that runs the original very close & is a touch stronger in taste.

Blonde dorée, forte effervescence, col fin. On retrouve les caractéristiques de la Blanche avec des notes de miel, de citron et de coriandre, assez sèche sur la fin. Bof...

MOLA_DK (379) - DENMARK - AUG 10, 2013
Bottle from ØlKonsortiet. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Yeasty aroma, medium low body, no bitternes. Easyjet drinking, quite boring.

Enjoyed at the Bistro L’Autre Oeil in Aylmer, QC. Pours a hazy golden colour with a creamy head, good retention and a little lace. Great banana nose with the wheat, citrus and Belgian Ale yeast. Smooth wet mouthfeel. Wheat taste with the banana notes and a little bubblegum. A refreshing summer wheat beer.

I was in need of refreshing and light beer, but with attitude. I liked the aroma that quickly draws one to a Belgian ale but with a light and not complex flavour. I wish all summer beers had this combination.

Bottle @ airport train from Antwerp to Brussels, courtesy of Kraddel, thanks man! :-) Poured into my empty plastic water bottle, it has a dark clear golden body and a medium white head. Nose is light malts, wheat, lemon and hints of lime. Surprisingly citric. Taste is citric coriander tones and wheat, with lemon, straw and light malty tones in the back. Medium to light body, moderate to high carbonation. A bit too much citrus for me, but a fair enough beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
