The Verboden Vrucht (Forbidden Fruit) is one of a kind. It is traditionally brewed with a mysterious blend of dark malts and flavored with spices. It underwent a slow second fermentation in the bottle so it matures into a delicious tasting beer with a complex flavor and a wonderful flavor balance between sweet and dry. Keep up this beer in a dark place and pour it at 5-6°C. Flavored with spices.

Bottle. Hazy brown with huge creamy white head. Aroma of bread, banana, peach. Taste of bread, some spices, pebber, belgian yeast. This one was highly carbonated. Fine beer

kapusil (1412) - Budapest, HUNGARY - OCT 14, 2016
0.33l bottle. Brown/ruby body with a thick and lasting beige head. Aroma of ripe banana, toffee, peach, nuts and some lemon zest. Taste of caramel, toast, orange zest, lemon zest and raisins. Sweet and fruity, but the finish has a hint of hops to it. The body is medium and it’s quite effervescent. Awesome beer.

0,33l from bottle at Mels Diner. BB 06/02/2016. Cooper hazy color, small off-white head. smells sweet, caramel, light fruity, light spices. decent smell is a bit too sweet though.. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes sweet, caramel, some belgian yeast, light funk, peppery, spices. Finishes lightly dry and with some sweetness and light fruity and marzipan / nutty notes. not a big fan, rather heavy.

Het is zeker een goed speciaal biertje, maar ik vind de smaak niet meer dan 5 punten. Je proeft de verschillende smaken, maar het is niet mijn smaak. maar smaken verschillen....

Flesje gedronken met Benzai. Licht amber kleurig helder bier. Stevig schuim. Aroma is iets houtig en caramelachtig. Smaak is fruitig en ietsje hoppig . Nasmaak is beetje bitter.

Bottle at bar. Copper color, white head. Bitter taste with citrus, earthy notes, yeast, nuts, toffee and ripe fruits. Bitter finish with citrus, earthy notes, nuts, toffee, ripe fruits and grass. Very nice Belgian ale.

pityu (681) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUL 15, 2016
Bottle - Cloudy amber colour, medium off-white head, good durablity, fine lacing. Spicy aromas of malt, wheat, caramel, peach, dried plum, raisins, candy and some tutti-frutti, a bit sourish in the end. Medium body, moderate carbonation, smooth texture, nice fruity finish. Great belgian strong ale.

Rhombic (130) - SPAIN - JUL 10, 2016
UPDATED: AUG 23, 2016 Pours cloudy brown with off white head. Grape aromas, apple and some overripe fruit - reminiscent of cider in a certain way. Flavours include a very clear apricot (if you have ever tried one of those sun-dried apricots, that kind of taste), blended in with malt and caramel. Medium body, fruitiness in retrohale, so I’m guessing a fair amount of esters to it. Long, gradual finish with a very subtle bitterness fading in just at the end. Well crafted.
