COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Verboden Vrucht (Forbidden Fruit) is one of a kind. It is traditionally brewed with a mysterious blend of dark malts and flavored with spices. It underwent a slow second fermentation in the bottle so it matures into a delicious tasting beer with a complex flavor and a wonderful flavor balance between sweet and dry. Keep up this beer in a dark place and pour it at 5-6°C. Flavored with spices.

Dark amber with a large cream head that is full of bubbles in a variety of sizes. Aroma is a touch weak but you still get yeast and dark fruits. Flavor is ok but there is a metallic taste that is not my favorite.

Deep amber with a big beige head. Aroma is apples, peaches, pears, bananas, caramel, bread, yeast. Same in taste with some cereal and honey touch. Sweet aftertaste.

PREZENTACJA: świetliste z bardzo dużą ilością grubych farfocli, pomarańczowo-czerwone, piana niezbyt obfita, opada do kożucha z kołnierzem, oblepia szkło skromną koronką;
AROMAT: marmolada z cytrusów, przede wszystkim pomarańczy, świeże figi, fenole, guma balonowa, zboże, suszona brzoskwinia, suszone mango;
ODCZUCIE: ciało średnie, mocno nasycone, wykleja podniebienie;
SMAK: marmolada pomarańczowa, żelazo, suszona brzoskwinia, suszone mango, czekolada, śladowa karmelowa goryczka;
OGÓLNIE: ciekawe piwo, ma bardzo złożony i intrygujący aromat, smakowi też należy się pochwała; minusem jest brzydko wyglądające farfocle (chyba martwe drożdże).

Sweet, medium-dark caramel and heavy malty aroma. Pours dark amber to brown with tiny foam, some lasing is. Taste is sweet with very light herbal bitter, lovely fizzy-malt infused flavor with caramel notes. Medium dry finish, no sourness in aftertaste. Clean, malty brew - liked. Alco well hidden, rather I feeling it as medium to full body.

Bottle from superette à a bieres. Nice dark ambar, three fingers head, yeasty, boozy, malty, plenty of "caracthère". Good staff

330ml bottle. Pours hazy brown, big beige head. Aroma is sweet. Prunes, gingerbread, raisins, barley in aroma. Dark bread, basement, prunes in taste. Medium bodied, over average carbo. Dry crisp finish, different spices I can’t recognize, maybe cinnamon. Well covered alco. Different, lot’s of tastes. I’m not sure about it.

Yeasty, burnt sugar aroma with echoes of such in the taste, along with dried fruits, toasted malt, and peat. Ruddy chestnut in colour with creamy head that sticks around. Solid, well-rounded dubbel-type brew.

Zilverenmaan (216) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - MAY 28, 2017
Aroma: sweet malts, dark fruits but pear syrup rather than plums. Some alcohol. Appearance: pear syrup. Mouthfeel: pear syrup. Taste: pear syrup, boozy finish. Carbonation adding a gentle fizz. To be blunt, this is just sweetness and booze.
