Pours very bright and ywllowish. Big white top. Kind of thin but not too thin. Tastes of banana and possibly other fruits as well. Some hops and yeast in the taste too. Aroma is fruity and fresh.

UPDATED: NOV 15, 2011 A fantastic white beer. A spicy ale with a yeast note. I have tried both botttle and on tap. Very light golden colour with good carbonation and a nice white head. Very refreshing.

12 oz bottle. Cloudy straw colored with a big whipped head. Yeast, wheat, lemon, coriander and yellow squash. Taste much the same. I keep thinking perfume. Expected to be a bit fuller based on how it looked. Thanks to Pimp Immy for the Ho.

UPDATED: JUN 21, 2009 Bottle: Ok, time to re-rate this. My knowledge of beer and palate have obviously changed drastically since May of 2006 when my beer journey began. Pours very light yellow, cloudy (I gave it the truffle shuffle to drop in that yeast), a very nice but short-term foamy white head. Aroma is Meyer lemon, black pepper, cloves, coriander. It’s still a decent white with lots of citrus, a peppery bite, and a good helping of those usual spice subjects: coriander, clove, pepper. A good beer, but a bit too carbonated to be a go-to for me. Original Rating: 9/5/9/4/18/4.5 Bottle: One of the best, for dang sure. Pours cloudy (it’s supposed to be) with a thick head that won’t run off on you. Aroma of orange, cloves, and coriander that also come bursting through in the flavour. This is the single most refreshing beer I’ve ever had, and absolutely perfect on a warm day. They really don’t come much better, do yourself a favour and try it. Try a squirt of lemon the second time, it’s like a whole new kind of excellent.

Draft. Huge white head with bubbly, yellow body. Aroma full of orange and coriander. Sweet flavor evoking orange peel on top with a slight sourness in the finish. Notes of coriander throughout. The palate is fizzy and thirst quenching. Short finish. Solid, above average.

UPDATED: SEP 28, 2008 From the bottle. Great appearance, not sure what the drink was in ’Ice cold in Alex’, but if it were me, i’d want it to look something like this. Fresh aroma, citrus flavour, crisp carbonation.

UPDATED: JUN 13, 2008 Have never recovered from the electric shock of first tasting this in Holland as a young novice. Was it manly to be seen drinking this?? Was it beer?? Was it right?? Did it really look like lemon meringue and taste like Savlon and spiced banana milkshake??Yes it did, and you all know you love it. (Re-rate, 29/04/08) 2 years and 1376+ beers later, my love of this beer remains undimmed. Still has a certain peppery-milky something about it....

Pint, off tap. Thick, hazy yellow in colour, with a fair white head which disappeared. Aroma of citrus fruits, wheat and straw. Fruity, rich soft taste with definte hints of citrus fruits and wheat. Similar in the finish. Tasty refreshing witbier, though not the best.

Pours milky golden with lasting white foamy head. Aroma of lemon, citrus zest, bananas (faint) and wheat. Flavor is mild and slightly sour with a predominant elements of citrus wheat and yeast.
