33 cl bottle: Pours with a pale golden, cloudy body and a medium sized white head. Nose of spices, banana and citrus. Citrus, honey and wheat in the flavour. Light bodied. It´s very enjoyable, this classic witbier.

UPDATED: JUN 13, 2006 Great wit bier with a wonderful flavor of wheat and orange-peel. Hints of coriander spice hit the nose while tasting the brew, which moves into a wheat and small hop finish.

beerscout (298) - New Windsor, New York, USA - MAR 10, 2006
UPDATED: DEC 24, 2010 Tap. Pale Yellow and White in color, like the old life-saver flavor, with a white fluffy head. Spicy and citrus aroma, including orange and lemon, wintergreen. Refreshing and light to the palate. Higher carbonation, but not harsh at all. Citrus and spice flavors, such as orange and wintergreen. Slight bitterness, sourness, but brief. A little wheatiness as well. Nice, refreshing whit beer and widely available.

no head, pretty weak aroma. strong carbonation makes this *refreshing.* originally the flavor surprised me, but now that i’ve had more beers of this type i think this is a pretty good example of the style. jolly pumpkin’s bam biere is similar but a little more flavorful.

33cl bottle. Poured cloudy pineapple yellow into a shaker glass with a 1-finger creamy white head (rapidly diminishing). Nose is spicy and fruity with a not-unpleasant whisper of DMS. Very crisp. Flavor is lightly bitter with coriander and a hint of DMS. The orange peel comes through in the short finish. Lightly sweet grainy malt flavor. Could be a little sweeter to offset the bitter/sour citrus peel, but this is a minor complaint. Light body with pleasant carbonation. Very refreshing! Better as cold refreshment than any of the bottled hefeweizens I have tried.

Draft. Cloudy white pour with small white head. A citrusy, wheat aroma. A fresh citrusy taste to it also. I enjoyed this more than I thought I would.

Lovely cloudy yellow color. Looks like a beer that should be drank on a hot summer day (although right now it is frigid and it tastes fine). Somewhat fruity, a nice bite on the front of the tongue but a very nice finish.
