Draught and bottle both very nice, the once-dead style resurrected by Peter Celis. The world’s first widespread Belgian style exhibits light fruity/estery wheat character and some citrus, with the curaçao and coriander a somewhat forced yet effective counterpoint. Still a fine patio session drinker. GeneralGao (3614) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - DEC 30, 2005
UPDATED: AUG 26, 2007 Draught at Tyler’s in Durham, NC. Cloudy yellow color with big bubbly white head that laced the glass. Nose is of coriander, citrus, and yeast. Tart at first with yeast and light malt up front. Aftertaste is slightly sweet with a subtle honey flavor. Very good beer. garthicus (2933) - Dublin, IRELAND - DEC 30, 2005
Fantastic, my favorite of all the Belgian beers. Fruity taste and just the right amount of body make this a great session beer LadyCooper (100) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - DEC 29, 2005
UPDATED: JAN 1, 2006 On Tap. Wow, when I ordered it, I did not expect to get a glass the size of my head! Big foamy head, semi-opaque (looked like organic apple juice), and serious hoppy flavour. A good patio beer. stoutchap (423) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 29, 2005
Pours a cloudy yellow, a decent foamy white head. A light citrus aroma mixed with wheat. A light fruity yeastflavor, with some complexity - but might need something else.

Bottle. Poured a very cloudy yellow, not gold, but actual yellow with no head. Fruit and wheat on the nose. Lemon, banana and wheat flavor dominate. Thin on the palate, but not disappointing because there is some complexity to it. Real good for a Belgian white, enjoyed it thoroughly. thewolf (12635) - Kolding, DENMARK - DEC 28, 2005
A wonderful white. Another example that even though you’re ’big’ doesn’t mean your beer sucks. A powerful fruity aroma with a very nice (white), though fast dissappearing head. The taste is not quite powerful enough, but has a banana flavour and a softness that even few wheat beers are blessed with. BeerMountie (117) - Placentia, Newfoundland, CANADA - DEC 27, 2005
330ml bottle. My first belgium white and hopefully not the last. Pours a nice white colour with a large white head. A hint of Citrus in the flavour of this beer. Very nice. It is available in Newfoundland but you have to buy a gift pack to get it. Nejhleader (1567) - Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 24, 2005
looks like lemonade kinda. It is pretty good, smooth, slightly thin, For being mass produced this is good stuff. Illinest (14) - Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 23, 2005
First time trying a Belgian white, I liked it quite a bit. Very crisp, very refreshing. I look forward to more.
