UPDATED: NOV 19, 2007 This was one of those beers that got me into good beers so i have a slightly weak spot for it. Particularly refreshing anmd citrus, corriander flavour domminates everything. I always like this and today it is probably the best day scotland will ever have so a good day to have such a thing. Rerate: I feel that this has got maltier and has lost something.

UPDATED: DEC 29, 2006 Bottle - November 2004 Pour with a white and lastin head. Appareance is cloudy, the beer being opaque but beautifull. The aroma is of citrics ( oranges, lemons) the carbonatation is very lively. Taste is tart and somewhat acid, very thirst quenching. A favourite.

Pours pale with a nice fluffy head, nice sweet aroma, and the taste a relaxing good sweet taste, this was very smooth, and very drinkable a little weak but good.

Bottled. Poured a brilliant cappucino like head (which Im sure would have stayed for hours if I could have resisted) that created lovely lacings down the sides of the glass as I polished it off. Not a very strong aroma, but pleasant and spicy. Upon tasting, I realised the spicy aroma came from a deliciously sweet clove flavour. Aftertaste is very doughy, like undercooked pizza base. I could only get this, though, by waiting a while between tastes (got distracted by the stove!!). A fairly metallic finish, but a nice round body. A very tasty beer, but I dont know if I could drink this as a staple. Next time I might have to follow the instructions on the label LOL.

Pour is a bright yellow like lemon juice. Aroma is nice and spicy with a bit of pepper in there. Flavor is peppery and spicy with a lemony backbone. Very refreshing on a warm summer night.

Not a fan of whites. This beer is too washed out for me, like a mammossa made with champagne and banana juice.

Review for bottled product, but similar experience with beer on tap.

Pallid yellow with a light, frosty haze and a large, foamy head. Light, dry aroma with a definite floral character... perfumed... sourdough in tow. Bitter, sour flavor with light acidity to follow. Floral notes in the sinuses. Creamy mouthfeel with a dry end. If anyone here besides me has consumed rose petals, this is quite similar. Pleasant, melancholy and (dare I say) gothic.

UPDATED: FEB 24, 2008 Staple for the style. If SNPA is the textbook pale ale, this is certainly the texbook wit. Decent, enjoyable and well made... but not mindblowing.

I really enjoyed this one, served in a huge glass, takes awhile to drink, great taste, can taste the orange, with a bit of sweetness, great color, a bit white and amber combined, interesting appearance
