Surprisingly smooth and palatable fruit flavor (i kept thinking green grape) for an unfiltered beer. The head was unusually light in weight and color. Enjoyed it entirely but don’t know if I could handle more than one due to its sweetness.

Light golden color with a hazy look to it. Small foamy head with sour spices on the palate.

Bottle 33cl. Pours hazy pale honey color with a White creamy thin head. Aroma is lemony as well as taste with a bit of sweetness. Medium carbonation, medium body. Vanilla aftertaste. Very good drinkability.

A nice belgian ale that really sets the standard for Belgian whites. It is excellent on tap where available and usually can be found at Bevmo.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy light yellow. Samll head evaporated quickly. Zesty. This beer tastes great. Very light but not lacking in flavor. Reminds me of Duvel, sans the alcohol.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2010 Bottle: Pale golden cloudy color. Nice head and lacing that stayed around. Banana, wheat, apricot aroma. Goes down smooth, refreshing. It was gone before I knew it. Will have again, and will share with friends that like wheat beer.

Pours a cloudy hazy yellow. Smells of lemon and wheat. Very wheat like taste. I think the best word to describe this beer is zesty. Very refreshing and yummy.

Pretty much the definition of the belgian wit. Nothing says summer like a Hoegaarden while sitting in a beirgarden under the shade of a newly leafed tree. yum

Viceroy (95) - Bucharest, ROMANIA - APR 30, 2012
