UPDATED: APR 21, 2013 Aroma is of wheat and a bit boozy. The Orange flavour comes out nice at the front of the pallet. Not much of an aftertaste with just a slight sourness/bitterness. Nice beer.

Appearance: it has a cloudy and hazy yellow head with a thin head. Aroma: smells like orange peel, wheat, lime and some spices. Taste: it has some citrus, ginger and fruit notes. Quite refreshing and nicely balanced.

Very light cloudy color with a white head, a bitter aroma, another orange-peel beer, like Orval, but I prefer this one, as it’s not as bitter or sour, this is a medium-bodied, light, pale malt, well carbonated, warm, crisp, and uplifting, very refreshing on a hot summer’s day, a little less potent in the bottle, at the Fireside Restaurant in Chicago it’s served with a slice of lemon in the hexagonal glass, in my view, I much prefer the Three Floyds Alpha King Pale Ale, which by the way, happens to be served there as well.

My favorite white beer. I think the belgians are slightly better at makin white beer than the Germans. A definite must try.

(33 ml bottle) Cloudy yellow body, with a dense white head. Banana hints as a backdrop to a citrus aroma. Smooth crisp taste, with an interessting palate that I can't place. A good summer session beer.

Pretty opaque light color. I find this beer less carbonated on tap (which I like better). Slight citric taste makes this a great Summer session beer. One of the better beers that is available at your average liquor store.

UPDATED: JUL 29, 2005 I had to re-rate this beer. I had this on tap at a local pub. Beer was poured in one of the big Hoegaarden glasses. Poured cloudy pale yellow with a nice head. Lots of wheat & yeast in the smell. The citrus in taste was very forward. I have also had this from a bottle and they were lacking a little in the taste but still better that my first experence with this beer (mabey I got a bad batch the first time)

Pours a hazy golden straw, with a good amount of particles. A large, frothy white head slowly reduced to a thick, solid white film that left a great lacing. Strong aroma of straw, cooked corn, and a slight mold a dry haystack on a warm summer day. The aroma is clearly one of the foremost aspects of drinking this beer and one gets the feeling you either love it or hate it. Soft yet clearly present carbonation with a slightly oily palate. A very appealing and substantive taste of corn and muted clove, undercooked bread, long lasting wheat finish. Almost no bitterness. An ideal relaxing and refreshing beer for a hot summer day. Overall a very well made beer. Cant go wrong here at all.
