Surprisingly smooth and palatable fruit flavor (i kept thinking green grape) for an unfiltered beer. The head was unusually light in weight and color. Enjoyed it entirely but don't know if I could handle more than one due to its sweetness. Jcarb28 (97) - Pico Rivera, California, USA - JAN 8, 2013
Light golden color with a hazy look to it. Small foamy head with sour spices on the palate. pdoorr (97) - - AUG 22, 2013
Pours hazy pale honey color with a White creamy thin head.
Aroma is lemony as well as taste with a bit of sweetness.
Medium carbonation, medium body. Vanilla aftertaste. Very good drinkability. giorgos_gtc (97) - GREECE - AUG 6, 2014
it is not something special. It has the taste of the hop and barley but not the same strong aroma. the foam does not remain. NateH10s (97) - Virginia, USA - JAN 31, 2016

750ml bottle in Mae Kasa, Thailand. Pours a hazy mid-gold with a white head. Aroma of orange and herb. Flavour of coriander, orange, wheat. Nicely balanced.
A classic wheat beer and Hoegaarden’s reputation as a good, mass-produced, easily drinkable beer is well deserved. Wolfenstein (96) - Sarasota, Florida, USA - DEC 5, 2005
Bottle: Poured a cloudy light yellow. Samll head evaporated quickly. Zesty. This beer tastes great. Very light but not lacking in flavor. Reminds me of Duvel, sans the alcohol. jedimasternick (96) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - JAN 1, 2009
A nice belgian ale that really sets the standard for Belgian whites. It is excellent on tap where available and usually can be found at Bevmo. vonderbrink (95) - Concord, California, USA - MAR 20, 2007
UPDATED: APR 28, 2010 Bottle: Pale golden cloudy color. Nice head and lacing that stayed around. Banana, wheat, apricot aroma. Goes down smooth, refreshing. It was gone before I knew it. Will have again, and will share with friends that like wheat beer. patty26 (95) - New York, New York, USA - NOV 16, 2007
Pours a cloudy hazy yellow. Smells of lemon and wheat. Very wheat like taste. I think the best word to describe this beer is zesty. Very refreshing and yummy.
