Pours with good amount of light foam. Color is of cloudy apple juice (or typical wheat beer color). Aroma is fairly rich and has typical wheat beer aromas like banana, citrus, wheat, perfume. Palate balanced between oiliness and dryness and very light. Taste is very refreshing and light for a wheat beer. Its a like typical good (german) wheat beer (Fransiskaner, Weihenstephaner, ...), but its less sweet and rich, which makes it more refreshing and easier to drink. Hoegaarden still has the good wheat beer taste though, so its not "watered down" in any sense. Certainly, a standard in wheat beers. Although it can be considered a "bulk" beer, it deserves the score of a high quality beer, since its a very enjoyable beer.

On tap, gialla chiara opalescente, schiuma bianca di ottima persistenza e aderenza. Coriandolo a fiumi, frumento, lievemente citrica.

Butelka do 10.12.2017. Wygląd - słomkowe, lekko zmętnione, z małą pianą, redukującą się szybko do zera. Aromat - banany, słodowość, kolendrę też dość wyraźnie czuć. Smak - fajne słodowe klimaty pszenicy, bananowść, przyprawowość, drożdżowy finisz, piwo ma fajna gładką teksturę, wysycenie średnie, goryczka znikoma. Poprawne piwo, choć niezbyt estetyczne pod względem wyglądu i dość daleko my choćby do takich podrży kormorana.

Klasyk belgijski! Hoegaarden ma żłto-złoty kolor i całkiem sporą, ale nieco dziurawą, białą pianę. W aromacie intensywnie banany i kolendra. W smaku rwnież te nuty dominowały, do tego trochę zbż, cytrusw i rżnych przypraw. Wysycenie średnie. Piwo bardzo rześkie, lekkie. Przyjemnie!

0,75 ml bottle. Golden in the glass, full haze. Nice thick white foam with pretty lacing. Aroma of slight citrus, coliander, smooth wheat in the background. Taste is slightly sweet, very low bitterness. Flavors of wheat malt, slight citrus, slight coliander in the background. Medium to high body, slick texture, high carbonation. Flavors of wheat and very slight yeast in the finish. Very refreshing and fairly drinkable. Spices and the characteristic Belgian witbier-like flavors are rather slight, thus it reminds me more of a German-style wheat beer.

Aroma is mostly coriander with freshness of citrus and some spices. Hazy yellow in the glass with frothy (but thick) snow white head. Malty taste with hints of yeastiness. Spicy, yeasty in the background. I feel lack of Belgian punch even if its Witbier.
