250 ml bottle. Poors a very pale yellow and hazy color with a white head. Notable lacing.
Aroma is citrus, spices, with other fruits like orange and banana.
Taste is sweet with a very light sourness, which appears nicely.
Refreshing and light beer, to be drinked very cold.
The body and texture could have been stronger, but it’s not the intend of this Witbier (Belgian Wheat Beer).
Overall : could be find for cheap in supermarkets, which makes this Witbier one of the best value for money you can find. Perfect for spring and summer, easily drinkable. I really like it.
On tap, at Belgian Beer Cafe in Riga.
Hazy, light golden colour, as expected.
The nose is also as expected, with the classic citrus-coriander complex and additional sweet wheat notes (although a classic Hoegaarden glass isn’t the optimal vessel for nosing).
In the mouth it has the same medium to medium light body as the bottled version, but it has definitely more Brett (hay, leather, touch of farmyard) than the bottled version. This makes it more complex and interesting, while still being the nice, refreshing summer drink which is it’s strength. maledictum (781) - Pyongyang, NORTH KOREA - JUL 18, 2017
Opaque, cloudy yellow with a quickly dissipating white head. Very pleasing to the eye! No lacing.
Sweet and sour comes through in the aroma. Lots of yeast and bread too. Coriander really comes out as the beer approaches room temperature.
Spicy and crisp at the start. Lots of coriander in the middle. With a nice tart and spicy finish.
Very highly carbonated like a sparkling wine. Could use a bit more in the body and mouthfeel but theflavors more than compensate. Simonsen (1278) - NORWAY - JUL 17, 2017

Bottle from B&M, Team Valley, Gateshead. Very pale straw-white coloured with a thick white head. It has a floral lemon, vanilla and yeasty flavour followed by earthy notes and orange on the smooth fruity finish. Very good. thekateperhaps () - - JUL 12, 2017
UPDATED: JUL 12, 2017 A lovely light beer. Especially refreshing on a hot day. Would definitely recommend

Well, is not a bad beer, but it’s the ground zero of witbiers. No special flavours, easy to drink. So many better beers on the style
