Pours to a off lemon hazey color leaving a quick white head. Smells like a basement and herbs leaving behind a skunky taste with a hint of hay. Aftertaste lingers

A good bananay Witbier. Citrus and coriander notes can both be detected. Very smooth, refreshing, quite creamy on the palate.

330 ml bottle. Cloudy pale yellow colour, big head with good durability, nearly no lacing, lively carbonation. Nose is fruity, ananas, banana. Flavour is medium sweet, low bitterness, orange, coriander. Rather watery with a short finish. Nice but not outstanding.

Bottle from Wellcome superstore Wuxing road, Taipei. I don't need to overly explain this one. Clean, bright and fruity. It is such an enjoyable and iconic beer. Fruity and fresh but not overly. The one slight negative could be it does have a slight sacharin-esque edge to it but it's a minor, niggly complaint. Great in the summer and in the winter. It is a classic.

Bill Becker (1773) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - OCT 27, 2017
From Sep 2007 Pours from 330ml bottle(best by 20/09/08) a slightly hazy straw colour with a fairly large head of foam that recedes quickly to just some spotting and some lacing. The smell is of wheat, banana, and clove. The taste is some nice wheat flavour, very light clove, and even lighter banana. Very lightly flavoured over all but what is there is good. Just needs to be a bit more assertive. The mouthfeel is light, the carbo is light, and it finishes on the watery side. Bottom line: It's been a while since I last had some of this and I don't recall it being *this* light on the flavours. In my book, it's just so so. There are lots of others in the style that please my palate more.

UPDATED: OCT 26, 2017 My first encounter with a white one, many, many years ago. Steady hot day gusher. Cloudy yellow pour with a quick dissipating white layer. Citrus and sweet pineapple and that undeniable wet dog smell. Fresh citrus flavours and a hint of tropics. Thin mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Doesn't disappoint ever I guess. Not one the greats but very sessionable!!
