UPDATED: OCT 30, 2004 The original white beer apparently; what a great style. Quintessential wit, pale, spicy, lightly sweet, yeasty, cloudy, citric, refreshing and effervescent. Perhaps not as unique as it once was due to the glut of witbiers on the market over the past deade or so, but better than most to be sure. fraternie (1021) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 25, 2001
I am not a huge fan of this style, but this beer was excellent as wheat beers go. Very smooth finish with an enjoyable citrus/wheat flavor. blatz (138) - Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Florida, USA - NOV 20, 2001
After reading so many comments, I was excited to see this on tap on a recent trip to Atlanta. Honestly it did not appeal to me -- I had this right before trying Paulaner Hefe on tap -- I wish I stuck with two Paulaners than having this -- but it never hurts to try.

I like this beer, though not one of my favorites. Had it on tap with a slice of orange, a la Dos Equis with lime. it is light and fruity, a good Witbier. birraguy99 (17) - Campana,Bs. As., ARGENTINA - DEC 17, 2001

UPDATED: MAY 22, 2005 Hazy pale yellow with firm white head.
Spicy aroma with notes of citrus, perfume and wheat.
Spicy flavor with mineral notes. Wheat, mineral and almond notes. Some bitterness in the end. heykevin (1287) - Decorah, Iowa, USA - MAR 28, 2002
An extremely tasty and solid witbeer. I really enjoy the spiciness created by the yeast, and think that the spicing is done the perfect amount. bierkoning (13689) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - APR 3, 2002
Strong aroma of honey, yeast, banana an d sweet oranges. Sweet, fruity and spicey taste. Slightly bitter and yeasty finish. Still a good beer, but not as good as 15-20 years ago, when teh brewery was still small and was owned by Celis. In those days the beer was only available irregularly in the Locus Publicus pub in Delft. At its peak, the beer was magic. When Interbrew took over, the beer got a more constant quality. But on the whole the quality diminished slightly, i'm afraid. William (202) - Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - APR 6, 2002
Nice fresh witbier. Does make a difference whether you have a draugth or bottle. It's quite sweet. bkuzmin99 (20) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 1, 2002
Good taste, especially floating a lemon in it. Not as harsh as some other wheat beers.
