Poured a fizzy clear yellow with a big creamy head that lasted well. Aroma of grass, herbs, yeast, light and refreshing. Tast also refreshing, slight sour lemon, phenols, vanilla, mixed with the wheat, followed by a long soft bitter finish. Palate medium to full bodied, creamy. Overall refreshing on a hot day (smacks lips).

Great summer beer! Light refreshing full of citrus flavors. Very well balanced with a nice refreshing finish. Enjoy!

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2017 Ahhh... An old old friend. Cloudy with a hint of lemon. Like a citrus induced cataract, only tastier!

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2017 A very special wheat beer. Exceptional refreshment. A blessing on earth provided by the fine people of Belgium.

I do love Witbier and Hoegaarden is among the better. It is good and refreshing from a bottle, often served with a lemon, although I think this is not necessary for its wheaty flavors are accompanied by a fine citrus note already. Better of course from tap. And being the most widely distributed Witbier, there are even options to have it from tap as far away as Thailand.

Jasno żółte, mętne piwo z długo utrzymująca się pianą. Smak lekko kwaskowaty, wytrawny, nuty kolendry i skórki pomarańczy, dość rzeskie. Aromat mało wyrazisty trochę pszenicy, jeszcze mniej przypraw. Średniej klasy witbier

Średni witbir. Piana jest, metne. Aromat pszenicy, w smaku lekkie orzeźwiające. Średnie wysycenie. Całkiem ok ale nie porywa

Delightful white. Good at all temperatures. Spice flavor was bit surprising ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Finally tasted this classic of Belgian Whites... Pours hazy yellow with a small, foamy, white head. The aroma contains wheat, citrus, orange peel, apple, hops, some spices (coriander). It tastes light sour, medium fruity sweet, and very light spicy bitter in the finish. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation. There's not much to it, but it lives up to its low expectations.

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2017 klassieker onder de witbieren. goede dorstlesser, maar mocht iets minder zoet zijn.
