Bottle. Aroma like rotting citrus. This an is excellent description provided by a non-beer drinker. Having owned several citrus trees myself, this description is dead on. It is not an unpleasant aroma, but distinctive. Appearance similar grapefruit juice. Foamy head that dissipates within two minutes. Taste is typical but watery. Feel is creamy and a little oily. Aftertaste is a flat and unpleasant. I really wanted to like this beer because it is readily available in this area. With each bottle over several sittings I liked it less.

Hazy, straw colour typical to style. Big coriander and wheat nose, typical witbier spices in flavour and bite from the carbonation. Very refreshing on a warm day.

Aroma of coriander and wheat (unsurprisingly). Cloudy orange with small white head. Taste mainly of wheat with coriander and a smooth easy going finish. Great witbier.

Saw this at my local Sainsburys and bought it on a whim as Ive never heard of it before and fancied trying something different. A very strong flavoured beer with a distinctive taste. Definitely a new favourite!

The big bottle from Żabka or Biedronka. Aroma: Citrus, coriander, spice, fruit, nice and intensive. Appearance: Nice head - durable, leaves lacing, golden hazy body. Taste: A lot of coriander, citrus, fruit, spice, lightly sour, pretty ok. Palate: Semi-sweet finish, medium-low body, medium carbonation.

Kolor: Słomka, zamglony. Piana: Obfita, sycząca, szybko opada do warstwy na powierzchni. Zapach: Mokre zboże, kolendra, cytrusy. Rześki. Smak: Kwaśnawe. Pszenica, kolendra. Goryczki praktycznie brak. Wysycenie: Średnie w stronę wysokiego, OK. Opakowanie: Nudna etykieta, niedokładny skład. Uwagi: Warka 28.11.17 Pite w niższej temperaturze, idealne do orzeźwienia, bez zbędnego rozkładania piwa na części pierwsze.

Dense, white head that leaves some lacing. Hazy yellow colour. Belgian spices in aroma, some coriander and parsley as well. Taste same as aroma, but with addition of slight sourness. Low bitterness. Medium body and carbonation makes it smooth and easy to drink. Good example of Witbier.

750ml bottle in Mae Kasa, Thailand. Pours a hazy mid-gold with a white head. Aroma of orange and herb. Flavour of coriander, orange, wheat. Nicely balanced. A classic wheat beer and Hoegaardens reputation as a good, mass-produced, easily drinkable beer is well deserved.

From bottle in Belgian ale glass. Pours hazy golden with two finger frothy head that faded quickly. Aroma of orange peel, yeast, with only a hint of coriander but it provides a bit of spice on the palate. An old fav.
