Lubiere (13900) - Ottawa, Ontario, - JUN 8, 2011
A hazed blonde ale with a thick collapsing lacing white head. A smooth creamy honey aroma, with light orange peels, chalky points, very Belgian. In mouth, a smooth sweet candy sugar, with light acidic points, Belgian hops, quite nice and smooth, with somewhat harsh finish. 6.49$ 12 on from Gillies, Rockville, MD on Sept 20 2010, BB 12/10.

Een goeie, licht zurige geur. Licht troebelblond. De smaak is redelijk bitter maar het bevalt me wel

Bottle ( de graal version ) Pours unclear blonde, very small white head. Smell is malty, very sweet, yeasty. Taste is bit bitter, but mostly sweet, by Sugar, maltsd, and a bit of madeirisation, even though the beer is bought fresh 2 weeks ago ( bottle ofr BB date is missing though ) OK, but def not more than that

Some florals and a little oak. Pours hazy brown with ok head. Light sweet finish. A fair touch of booze. Not bad, but unbalanced on the booze. Bottle.

Benzai (15586) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JAN 14, 2015
Bottle @ home. Clear yellow to golden color, medium sized white head that lasts for a decent while. Smell and taste some malts, European hops, a hint of yeast, lightly bitter. Typical Belgian blond. Nothing wrong with it, nothing really interesting either. Decent beer.

Alengrin (5334) - BELGIUM - OCT 22, 2014
Tasted in the original Alvinne version when it was just launched onto the market, in 2008. Creamy, off-white head over a warm ’old gold’ coloured beer; soft malty aroma, peach, pineapple, citrus peel, yeasty and spicy touches; fruity onset, fresh sparkles, refreshing, smooth with sourish accent and mild bitterish finish. Decent example of the ’blond’ Belgian ale style.

jkwood04 (5448) - Connecticut, USA - SEP 26, 2014
11.2oz bottle in a tulip. Pours murky golden/brown with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of spicy yeast, some pale and caramel malts, and some hints of light fruits and hints of hops. Flavor the same with a decent blend. Average texture. A decent Belgian ale.
