Bottle. Pours golden yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of yeast, fruit, vanilla and spices. Flavor was lightly sweet with caramel, fruit, wood, oranges and had some spiciness.

Hazy golden pour. Aroma is fruity and alcoholic with brandy oak and yeast coming through as well. Flavor is nice if a little hot in the finish. Fruitiness is the strong point. Odd combo that works, but is too expensive.

BadAprilia1000 (437) - Sevierville, Tennessee, USA - MAR 5, 2014
Pours a hazy bright orange color and with a very effervescent white head. Aroma is very fruit, mango and banana most particularly, some apricot, yeast, honey, maybe some slight spiciness. Taste is fruit, mango, melon, banana, then to a brighter pear and apple and some apricot, then malt body that is ultra smooth, rich, almost creamy on the palate, and always a strong warming booze note throughout. Palate is pleasant but nothing spectacular. Overall, a very intriguing beer, yet less complex than some other Hof Ten’s I’ve had.

bartlebier (4118) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - JAN 28, 2014
(backlog ZBF 04/2013) Cask sample courtesy of brewer, merci. Feels very light for the 10 ABV. Refined oily brandy palate, white grape sweetness, but all in all very contained: does not jump out of its restrained barrel-aged shell.

bigguns22 (800) - Maryland, USA - JUN 22, 2013
Very pleasent aroma but very lite. Amber in color, very clean looking with a great pure white head. Tons of flavor and one of the most unique blondes I have had. Flavors are all over the place from caramel, citrus, alcohol, spice and malt.

3.9
twindog (274) - Hampstead, Maryland, USA - JUN 22, 2013
Nice pour dark gold with a nice clean head. Little light on the noise, the taste is very nice on caramel note, heavy raisin note then beer has a nice palate never had a blond with this much flavor one down 2 still to go
