750 ml bottle - pours cloudy orange with floating yeast, soapy off-white head. Supersweet smell , aroma of hiney, white sweet wine, earthy raw basis. Full body with warm alcohol and too much sweetness - not balanced...
split 4 versions several ways to absorb the cost - murky orange gusher. Vanilla apricot aspects of the brewer’s description are accurate here, though it’s also a little yeastier, funkier and mustier than advertised. Probably my favorite of the 5 I’ve had, but not worth the premium price tag. Sammy (12105) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 28, 2015
dark, honeyish and some funk. honeyish finish. lace.Black honey aroma. Mould and cherry medicinal in the finish. kraddel (7870) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - NOV 17, 2015
Been sitting on this since release, now should be the time to finally open them.
Pours dark, clear amber. Ok white head fades within seconds, until no trace of any foam at all is left. Smell is boozy, full, bit sharp, grainy, and even remotely metallic. Taste is harsh, sharp grainy, sugary, sweet, some of the barrels shine trough. Finishes sweet. Rather low-for the abv- mouthfeel, with a boozy touch as well. Doesn’t seem to have the right amount of backbone for a barrel this strong. Must say I absolutely, 100 % love the barrel-notes in this one, but the beer that was used, was not a 100 % complementary to me. TheCametron (2480) - CZECH REPUBLIC - OCT 12, 2015
Bottle. Tasted alongside the Dark ale Moscatel & Dark ale Grappa Sour. What a treat. Pours Golden Amber with a gentle haze and a thick White head. Asserive Belgian yeast aroma with a backdrop of woody cognac tinged booze. Tastes of caramel and candi. Nice balance of oaky vanilla and mellow sweetness. Warming booze. Very nice. unclemike (3115) - Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA - SEP 5, 2015
Hazy amber with a big off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, fruity, light spicy and wood. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish with warming alcoho

A dried apricot body sits beneath a completely dissipating off-white head... bold and sweet brew offering vanilla, rounded cognac, citrus rind, grape skin, apricot, and subtle damp wood on a viscous, oily, medium plus body cut somewhat by alcohol spice and oak tannin, big warmth from a 750ml aged for a couple years around 60° and served at 50° into snifter madmitch76 (24491) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUN 9, 2015

Murky amber beer, decent pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Good fine carbonation. Lactose sweet malts, dry cream and well integrated mellow wood. Sweetish cognac. Dry and slightly bitter floralness. Tasty but it’s a bit awkward and angular and I could not drink loads.
Pours a clear dark brown beer with almost no foam and saturation.
Smells oaky, has a hint of vanilla and of red fruit with some cognac coming trough.
Tastes slightly sweet.
Tastes non alcoholic and no saturation.
Fresh palate. Really fine refreshing beer! VsXsV (4420) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 14, 2014

Flaska på Brekeriet Bar. Smak och doft av malt, karamell, halstablett Läkerol special, farinsocker, päron, konjak, russin och marsipan. Välbalanserad, fruktig med komplexa toner och lagom sötma. Fantastiskt gott.
