Aus der Flasche getrunken (Lieferung aus NL). Trübes Dunkelorange mit viel Schaum. Leicht säuerliche Nase. Die Fassnoten sind sehr speziell und überdecken den starken Alkoholanteil komplett. HogTownHarry (7065) - Toronto (Harbourfront), CANADA - JUL 27, 2017
July 10, 2010 - 2 litre bottle share - thanks, R!!! Deep orange-amber with a smallish beige head. Smells very interesting - alcohol, but not 12%; almost like twiggy brandy but it’s definitely grappa - grapeseed and all the crazy goodness that is grappa; not very beer-like. Taste follows, but tons of musty oak barrel. Average body, quick slick and astringent, not all that much carbonation - finishes dry and even more grappa-like. I, for one, loved it. vincentvega72 (886) - Terneuzen, NETHERLANDS - APR 27, 2017
Mooi donkerblond, licht koperkleurig bier met witte schuimkraag die snel inzakt. Zurig aroma en smaak. Druif, beetje perzik, hout, licht likeurtje, zuurtje, vineus. Mooi in balans. Heerlijk aperitief-biertje. Zeer lekker !! VamboladeTolly (2178) - Tartu, ESTONIA - FEB 10, 2017
Bottle. Pours hazy golden almost no head. Aroma: sweetish, alcohol- maybe grappa, berries, butterscotch, toffee, sweet fruits, candy. Taste the same. Nice. martjoobolut (5115) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - DEC 7, 2016
Bottle, BB 21.08.2017 (from Koht, about a year ago). Pours golden with whiteish head. The head stays for some moments. Aroma is fruity, citrus, lemon, booze, sugar, some white wine. Flavor is sour and bitter, a lot of sugar, white wine, grappa, some rubber, fruits. Feels pretty boozy. Burning booze in the finish... did I took a shot of vodka accidently?! Overall: not as shitty as the other Dormaals I have tried, but this is not a good beer.

A hazy, dirty amber color with virtually no head - though it is foaming like crazy when poured. An incredibly sour aroma, apples, wood, quite a lot of brett, a tad vinous, and perhaps a tiny bit of honey. A sweet and sour taste of brett, grapes, fermented fruits, some white wine, and a touch of wood. A medium body, a slick texture, and a fizzy carbonation. Finish is more heavily marked by wood and some leather, as well as by a tiny bit of alcohol - previously undetectable. Overall the beer is very pleasant, sour yes but with good reason and plenty of succulent flavors to back it up.
UPDATED: JUN 6, 2016 Draft at Monks. Hazy blond pour. Head disappeared. Complex woody sour. Grapeseed. Notes of apricots, lady apples and gooseberries. Dry tannic finish. madmitch76 (25537) - , Essex, ENGLAND - APR 24, 2016

Hazy gold - amber beer, small pale cream colour head, Palate is light, semi dry and fairly crisp. Nice level of citrus with mild and savoury brett. Modest woody bitterness in to a light grappa aniseed. Light semi dry finish. An interesting and drinkable beer.
