Bottle. Was hoping for a little bit more out of this, but se la vie. Hints of raspberry, funk, and milk chocolate on the nose. Lot of the same in the palate, just never really full on. Kind of watery and weak, not thick. Still tasty, just not what it could be.

nathanvc (894) - Brugge, BELGIUM - FEB 17, 2018
Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker.
Pours hazy black with a red hue and a quickly diminishing, off-white head. The aroma contains raspberry, cocoa nibs, yeast, light roasted malt, dark fruits, some vinegar. It tastes medium to heavy fruity sour and only very light malty/chocolatey sweet, almost in a retronasal way. Drying, tart finish. Medium body, creamy texture, fizzy carbonation. The chocolate was somewhat absent in the taste and only subtle in the aroma. Due to its sour imbalance I found it hard to finish a whole bottle. Still, good, and the brewing process gives the brewery a sympathetic character.

375ml bottle at Brasserie V. Foamy, fading beige head. Big raspberry tones. Big sour tones, but comes off in an infected way. Adambier oily devolved black malt tones, but the massive raspberry keeps it reasonably in check. Kind of a mess, lacks much finesse. Drinkable because of the big raspberry, but an overall unimpressive offering.

Bottle. Nose was initially, sour, green apple, lots of balsamic. As you adjust to the sour notes, the soft milk chocoalate comes out. I could only get a light raspberry. Taste is balsamic, red berry, green apples, sour, slight saltiness, raspberry, I really couldn't get much chocolate. I think this is a decent enough sour, not sure the chocolate was doing much.

33cl bb:lost cap, shared by bastarda at DecTasting, merci. - - - Bref: faintly watery berry "sour" that might as well be Scandinavian in its literal approach to the style. Naturally sour raspberry & pips drowned in thaw water, leaving on a hard to place earthy bitter note: might as well be hops as cocoa beans. Otherwise little chocolate or richer Modena maltiness midst the thinner balsamics. - Kudos to this family farmhouse brewery for cultivating its own grains, hops and in this case raspberries, but much of the output needs an overhaul in terms of yeast profile and house character.

330ml Bottle. Pours a deep burgundy color with a small head. Aroma of dark fruit and acidic with a trace of citrus. Taste is quite tart, with dark fruit and bit of citrus. Has a tartness that linger into a fairly dry finish. Light body and tart with no hint of the chocolate. Not quite what I expected

Bevuta il 09/12/2017 @MelrosePlace in Romagnano Sesia (NO). Leggerissima schiuma che svanisce subito. Colore marrone scuro. Odore sapido e formaggioso, ricorda la feta e il parmigiano stagionato. In bocca acida, gusto di lamponi acerbi.

Vells (2006) - Rīga, LATVIA - NOV 24, 2017
Nice darkish chocolate with some pure cherry on top. Moderate to light sweetness with moderate tartness. Nice balance, lovely sippable brew

330ml bottle (Alus Celle, Riga) (5:3:4:2:9=2.3)
Minty chalky aroma, some raspberry too, sour too, dirty also. Red, fizzy. Sourish fizzy watery palate. Dirty fruity berry taste. Did cover the alcohol, but a pretty pointless brew. Dirty through and through - maybe that's the "chocolate" component.

Marduk (8834) - Reval, ESTONIA - OCT 20, 2017
330ml bottle (thanks FatPhil). Clear dark chestnut color. Small size, beige head, stays. Looks fizzy. Acidic, balsamico, vinegar in aroma. Acidic, sour, apples in taste. Sour and vinegar in aftertaste. Why?

GhostS (562) - Chisinau, MOLDOVA - OCT 7, 2017
Aromă de bere acră și ciocolată, malț înăcrit, drojdii. Gust bine amar, cu note de cacao și malț înăcrit, drojdii și ceva fructe murate în final. Bună.
