It’s medium brown, unclear with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of clove, caramel and wheat. The sweet flavor has notes of clove/yeast, caramel, wheat, light banana and fruit in the slightly dry finish.

Bottle looks a bit complex. Beer in the glass very dark, nice head. Malty aroma. Starts very yeasty, modest fruity, quite moldy from the beginning. Dusty and dry, roasty-malty and still moldy finish. I didnt like it!

Bottle: Amber too deep amber coloured, mid-sized fluffy brownish head with a little lace; solid sweetish-malty nose, sourish-fruity background; moderate to solid sweetish-sourish flavour, soft and medium bodied; complex finish: caramel, sourish fruits and a touch of Port(!). Very good............

(bottle) Hazy, chestnut-brown colour with a big and slightly beige foamy head. Sweet dark malty and wheaty aroma with delicate fruity notes of red berries with notes of bubblegum and cloves. Sweet and slightly acidic flavour, medium to light bodied with a spritzy carbonation. Yeasty and wheaty taste with notes of bubblegum; medium-dry wheaty and moderately fruity finish with a tinge of phenolic spices. A drinkable Weizen but not very Dunkel-like, has more of a coloured Ur-Weisse. 14.IX.09

Quack-Duck (9486) - Down South, GERMANY - JUN 7, 2009
bottle, bought at the brewery. Cloudy brown colour with a large beige head. Fruity-chocolatey nose. Full-bodied, smooth and velvety palate with lovely flacours of cocoa powder, chocolate and shy hints of banana. Delicious.
