Langweilig.

(bottle) clear deep amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of pale malts and caramel, with a touch of hay, some chlorine, dark chocolate and pears. flavour is mostly tobacco and bubble gum, with some more bubble gum, pears, caramel and a semi-dry finish. full-bodied with average carbonation.

At Lantana Oktoberfest. Poured a dark brown in a plastic cup with a small head. Aroma is slightly malty, caramel, dark bread, slight sweetness, and leather. The taste is rather watery and lacking depth. Some tastes of caramel and malts are nice, just weak. Medium body and an unexciting finish.

Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - APR 11, 2013
It’s hazy dark golden with a white head. The aroma has notes of hay, grain, light caramel and fruit. The flavor has a light to moderate sweetness with notes of malt, hay, grain, light caramel, light fruit and the finish is slightly dry.

bottle from Biershop-bayern.de. Clear deep golden colour, large and creamy white head. Deep malty aroma. Full-bodied, robust malt flavours with grainy hints. Resiny hops in the finish, shy fruity touch. Smooth and velvety palate. Very good Märzen.

pivnizub (11006) - Bochum, GERMANY - JUN 19, 2010
Bottle (Gruß Garching!): Unclear, deep golden coloured, big fluffy stable and lacyhead; moderate to solid bisquity-nutty nose with some subtle fruits and a good dash of "woody" hops underneath; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; detectable hoppy bitterness in the moderate nutty-malty and bitter finish. Good, slightly diluted "Heller Bock".....

MoritzF (10255) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - JUN 17, 2010
(bottle) Hazy, light-amber colour with a light-beige medium-sized foamy head. Bready cara-malty aroma with notes of biscuits and a delicate hops profile in the background. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Tastes like a diluted pale Bock: bready and slightly biscuity malty taste with lighter herbal accents and traces od alcohol; moderately sweet malt-accented and delicately hop bitter finish. A decent and quaffable Märzen. 16.VI.10

jonas (8634) - Garching close to the monks, GERMANY - FEB 17, 2010
Bottle. Honeyish malt aroma. Hazy orange, low off-white head. Spicy entry, bready malt base, light fruit and honey. Medium to light body, mellow mouthfeel. Grassy and fruity finish
