From a 500ml bottle on 2/4/2016. Pours a clear deep amber with a biggish foamy head Has a malty aroma of caramel and rye bread. The flavour follows suit - more caramel and rye bread, a bit of toffee, a touch of spice, and a very mild bitterness. Medium bodied with mild carbonation. A very solid, well made, tasty beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Ar- dark bread crust is dominant on the nose with some caramel and hints of malt sweetness. Also get a hummus note.
Ap- clear, dark copper beer pours a nice white to off white head.
Fl- malt sweetness is well balanced by toasted bread crust and subtle hop bitterness. A hint of caramel in the mid palate.
Mf- med bodied, nicely carbonated,
Ov- this is like drinking bread, and is a little one note. It's a good note but not a very good one.
