330 ml bottle. Pours a clear mahogany with a very long lasting off-white head. The aroma is quite clean and malty, no hop oils detected. The flavor is of dark malt with a subdued bitterness. This is how you brew a traditional Munich Dunkel. For all you unfamiliar with this style, do not expect the typical raisin/prune/cocoa flavor found in almost every American dark beer. Do not expect the high viscosity and thick mouthfeel from the overuse of caramel malts. Expect, rather, a highly drinkable, refreshing beer with a dark malt accent. This is one of the finest examples of the style you will find anywhere which is meant to be enjoyed by the liter.
Chopp at Hofbräu Berlin. Deep dark brown, medium head. Sweet roasts malty carmel aroma. Flavour is sweet with roasted malt and carmel, some dark fruit. Thin palate. julesxxl (652) - FRANCE - MAR 12, 2018

Simply put, this is the standard that all dark beers must be compared. From the opening malty, caramel aroma, to the slightly bitter yet smooth aftertaste, this beer represents the very best Germany (or any country for that matter) can hope to achieve. klm1 (2104) - Bled/SF, - FEB 25, 2018santiman123 (9) - MEXICO - FEB 24, 2018 does not count

A bottle from Jason's near NCCU. Aroma: rather sour. Appearance: clear oxtail soup, 10mm. foam, dissipating to tan lacing. Palate: medium-bodied and oily, average carbonation, lingering malty finish. Taste: medium sweet, very flavoursome, tons of caramel. Great beer. cruik (62) - - JAN 26, 2018
Pours dark and runny. The lack of viscosity is apparent and surprising from the start. Smell is lightly sweet and malty. Taste is strongly chocolate malts with a biscuit appeal that tends toward unburnt toast. Light bodied and very drinkable. Good. sseb69 (2039) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 13, 2018

Color ambarino corona de espuma blanca, aromas maltosos y caramelo, sabores a caramelo con notas a malta cuerpo medio.
Clear cola color with a fine head. Decent lacing. Looks ok. Medium body and a mellow carbonation level. Tad sweet and a decent bitterness. Bready, fruity and caramel in the flavor.
