I’m not a huge fan of this overly carbonated weizen...especially the german hefeweizen. It doesn’t quite mix as well with the fuller body, thick, viscous, and full of banana and clove flavors that are enjoyable. It overpowers those aspects, and brings it to an abrupt finish on the palate. I do like the balance however, as it is well done. Drinkable, but not my speed.

Golden color with a fine white head. Good lacing. Looks nice and inviting. Mild sweet wheat and some banana notes in the aroma. Ok intensity. Medium body. Balanced sweetness. Average carbonation level. Banana, fruity, malty and wheat flavor.

Heller, wenig herber Antrunk. Spritzig, hell würzig, geringe Malzigkeit, deutlich bitter werdend. Angenehm herb bleibend, weich, erstaunlich rund. Leicht erhöhte Karbonisierung. Gut. 10/9/9/9/11/9

Many thanks for this beer to kevnic2008. Piwo jak to na bawarskiego pszeniczniaka przystalo ma spora i trwala piane. burzliwie powstajaca nawet podczas wolnego nalewania po szkle. Aromat czysto bananowy. Oczywiscie barwa zlota i klarowana, smak same banany i lekka slodowosc. bez goryczki piwo

Pleasant sweetish banana aroma. Fullish palate, light but just a little sticky. Decentish wheaty banana taste, but I so prefer a hefe to a kristall. Decentish and clean.

Marduk (8622) - Reval, ESTONIA - JUN 2, 2016
Tap (Hofbräu Berlin, Berlin). Clear yellow color. Medium size, thick white head, stays. Banana, sweet, sourish, grainy in aroma. Banana, grainy and bit of chalk in taste. Fizzy carbonation. Sweet mouthfeel. Feels dead and bland to me.

Mister_Li (1634) - GERMANY - MAR 19, 2016
