On Tap in Bangkok, Thailand at Bei Otto. Along way to go to try a new German beer but what the hell. Pours a slightly cloudy medium brown with orange highlights. Big, fluffy off-white head that lasts all the way down. Mildly spicey aroma with a hint of clove. Slightly sweet initial taste against a good malty base. Yes, there’s a hint of clove in the background. Flavors were more sublte than I had expected but it’s still a nice, smooth beer ogreface (1390) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUN 4, 2010
Poured a brown-amber body, misty with a huge, lasting off white head. Full, sweet, bubblegumy lactic nose, very light coffee too. Extremely creamy banana taste, müsli, banana and did I mention banana? Light, acidic finish. Ooooh yeah!
yum time.its got that murky ugly brown look that i wanted. light brown cap of a decent size. nutmeg aroma, mild banana mixed in well with the wheat, light sweetness falls in the middle, sweet yet pungent candy. warming. very warming. THe flavours are yummo, not as yummo as the tostidos that await me as soon as i destroy this beer. Everything above is blended wonderfully into one tasty experience. warm and sweet (not really sweet, just a sweetness), toasty wheat goodness, light spice, almost non existent stand alone banana- very balanced. I knew I was going to love this beer. Beerheart65 (1503) - Pori, FINLAND - AUG 16, 2013
Hazy mahogany with big frothy offwhite head. Mild aroma has bit banana, dark fruit, light and inviting. Mild, light feel, sweet, low carbonation, bit yeast, fruity finish. Ok and right things done here well.

Opaque brown color (almost the color of the bottle) with foam medium.
Aroma of banana and toasted malt.
Sweet, fruity and dry finish.
An excellent beer! vento76_2 (56) - - JUN 27, 2014
Non sono un amante della weiss ma questa mi intriga. Forte e decisa. Gusto pieno. Da riprovare. cubs (10635) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUL 13, 2014
Maß @ Las Vegas Hofbräuhaus. Big fucken mug offered @$13.99+3.00. Called simply their "dark wheat beer", so i believe this is the correct entry. Aroma is typically heavy on the esters. Lots of apple, pear, and banana. Some spicy notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. Flavors of caramel, apple spice, soft malt. A hint of smoke. Moderately sweet. Some banana and vanilla. Definitely some spiciness but pretty subdued. High carbonation. Some tartness on the finish with just a bit of toast. Nothing spectacular and certainly not from a great weisse brewery but this is pretty decent where I’m @ just now. Tæmë thë chüg. vinivini (2391) - Gomel, BELARUS - AUG 23, 2015
Deep amber to brown, tall frothy white head, good retention. Aroma of yeasty spice, roasted malt, some apples & phenols. Light to medium body. Thin to oily. Pretty dry flavour with tart roastiness, lots of spice. Decent amount of hop bitterness in mid-taste & finish. well balanced. Very good. ignorant (113) - madrid, SPAIN - JUL 27, 2016
brown very dark, almost black something shady. compact beige foam that leaves appreciable lace and slowly disappears. Smell, semi sweet toasted reminiscences and somewhat floral, with hints of yeast, bread and subtle banana. malty, sweet and roasted flavor, some soap and spicy with small hints of classic English porter. Some nut nuts type. Aftertaste very light but long, low bitterness and creamy. Very well balanced between yeast and malts.
