Maris (1531) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - FEB 10, 2017
From a 500ml bottle on 11/2/2017 (labelled Hofbrau Hefe Weizen). Pours a cloud golden with a medium head. The nose is bready, with clove and banana featuring. The flavour follows suit - sweet, with bead malt, banana, clove, a hint of spice and a most bitterness. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. All up, a well made hefe.

nephirem (562) - CROATIA - JAN 7, 2017
Bottle, 0.5l. Hazy orange pour with medium sized, thick and creamy white head. Poor head retention and ok lacing. Smell is typical hefe, lots of yeast, notes of banana, slightly herbal. Thin body, highly carbonated. Texture is thin and watery, which is a bit disappointing. Lingering between sweet and sour. Aroma of yeast, wheat, clove, hay. Herbal and grassy. Faint caramel and cardboard in the aftertaste. Overall, textbook generic hefe. Not bad although a bit watery. Ok.
